Canvas by Nikolaj Pedersen is a clean three-packet cut with new and very distinct mechanics. Attention to simplicity and movement leaves you - the performer - more room for interpretation than usual. It is a fresh canvas waiting for you to paint with your personal brush.

I simply will never understand why you'd take the time to let the people who obviously took a lot of effort to make something for you, that you don't like it. What the fuck is wrong with you guys? This is an amazing tutorial. EASILY they're best and easiest to follow along and clearly well planned out. This is an amazing cut that can open doors to any cardist no matter who you are. Have some respect guys, I don't see any of the complainers putting out anything memorable. Or anything good at all. Love the cut Nikolaj keep it up 👍🏼

+Kevin Melone I agree with you that people shouldn't complain that we're getting this free, well-produced content. But we shouldn't disallow people from expressing their opinion towards it. You can disagree with these opinions, but we shouldn't silence them. I think this flourish is great, but I can respect the fact that certain people will not find this agreeable to their tastes. I'm sure DealersGrip cares about what their audience thinks, you'd want to invest effort into making content most of your audience enjoys after all. And it seems to be the case that their audience largely praises this material, which is good, but we shouldn't fall into the trap of 'lots of effort'='quality content that everyone must like'.

thanks for standing up for unpopular speech and opinions. I'm only just now getting into cardistry, after 3 years of card magic. I have watched many tutorials on card handling and I find that the tutorials where the cardist verbally explains the methods, more helpful. cardistry, (for beginners) is hard enough, but without hearing them explain it... almost impossible. I still commend anyone who freely shares their skill with the world. thanks again and peace to all.

Well done, thanks for sharing this with us.
One comment: cutting from hand view to front view and back again, we lose more information than we gain... we're thinking "thumb goes here, pinkie goes there" and suddenly everything is the other way around. Each POV shown separately - or even concurrently - is more helpful than changing context mid-move. When it comes to video editing, less is definitely more.

why switch perspectives halfway through the flourish? it makes it so hard to follow along

Such an amazing flourish, thank you so much :)
I just wonder how ppl like Nikolaj come up with these unconventional moves, for instance the last part with the thumb is quite hard... while creating how'd you ever know that you will get it down fluidly lol. I imagine it's connected with lots of frustration.

I wish they would have taken more time to explain the closing action. He does it really fast in a "slow-mo" part, but other than that it's real neat!

Cardists having trouble with this tutorial should learn other two-handed cuts first. Cuts like maverick have similar mechanics that will make the tutorial easier to follow. Sick asf move and great tutorial!
