Second, Jackson did not just imply that some nazis was incorporated into the army, but that the army has a major nazi problem. No disputes that Ukraine has some nazis in their army, but so does many many armies around the world, its quite common for fringe belifes to fester in military circles. Not a majority percentage but some parts.
They arent being financed by the Russian government unconditionaly u dumbo. They are a private group of individuals who work for contracts which means everything they own is private and bough by their own earned money while the Azov are literally state funded political group with a state funded military wing.
There is a huge difference.

If the USSR did not exist or acted in a different manner France and Uk would have acted much more aggresively towards Germany. The simple truth is that in the beginning of WW2 the warmongering factions(Italy,Germany,USSR) had more power than the liberal states who wanted to preserve peace(France,UK) and that is why everything went as it went. Thankfully right now Europe/the western world has more power than Russia. Not even talking about Russia pretty much funding organisations in other countries to have a reason to put their filthy hands and mess with them.

@@based_demo The Azov battalion at the moment falls under the arm of the interior ministry. They just changed there emblem from that of a derivitive SS insignia last week. I believe there anthem still goes "Bandera is our father, Ukraine is our mother". It was not just parts, kt was the senior leadership and the rank and file soldiers. People who wanted to join the military who didn't have Nazi or at the very least ultranationalist sympathies joined the regular army. They were incorporated into the military because they were too powerful and refused to disband. They were also better fighters thsm the ordinary military because of their philosophical views so better to have them on side. My problems don't lie with them personally but more with western governments arming confessed neo nazis who were banned by America in 2018 from receiving financial aid due to said beliefs.

It's not that difficult people. Much of the ideology comes from 100 years ago and more. This current conflict between Russia and Ukraine is really a proxy war of Russia vs the West. This started after the USSR fell and NATO said it would not move to bring countries close to the new Russian territory but started doing so anyway. Then things escalated quickly when the US performed a coup in 2014. The people in the Donbas region resisted so the newly installed government, with much help from the Nazi elements in their country, started a war campaign on those people that lasted until Russia's latest incursion.
All three things are true and any one thing doesn't invalidate either of the others. What are you even arguing about?
@@jeffcook2570 NATO never agreed to not expand (why would it, the Soviet Union had collapsed, they had no bargaining power), it wasn't a U.S. backed coup, and the people in the Donbas had as much a right to secede as Alabama does if a Democrat won.

And sure you're Alabama scenario would be accurate if they objected to the election and then were bombed and shelled to the tune of over 40,000 casualties.

Hinkle and Haz managed to convince that not only should NATO be expanded until it literally encircles Russia and China, but the military funding withing NATO should be raised to 5% GDP to completely dwarf any opposition. They also managed to convince me UA-cam's censorship practices can be a good thing and that free speech, while a great idea, should probably be toned down until we grow to deserve it.

What do you call it when you remove a fairly elected president from office by means outside the constitutional requirements? Maybe an "illegitimate impeachment"? At the very least, the vote to remove Yanukovych was clearly extralegal and unprecedented. He stated in Kharkov that he was still the president and hadn't "abandoned his post". Just because the president isn't currently residing in the capital during a time of unrest doesn't mean he can just be removed unconstitutionally via a slapped together vote by the parliament.

The building that the pro-Russians fell back into was a farmers market/trade unit, some of the Pro-Ukrainians did in fact throw and start the fire but then after the Pro-Ukrainian protesters attempted to actually break the Pro-Russians out and tore down the barricade while fighting more extreme elements of their protest off.
A lot of the pro-Russians were removed from the building, but some refused to leave and further barricaded themselves further in. Near the end it was entirely an effort to get as many people out of the building as possible.
This is coming from someone who was there, btw.
