Poor you for the failed swim, but it must be said that from July to October it's not the good tourist season it's the rainy season and certainly the Savana and everything is green and beautiful like in Cameroon but the best season is is between December and May where it is even very cold for us Africans, not a drop of water falls, the sky is very blue and beautiful, europeans tourists arrive to enjoy the beaches but the green color disappears it is the long season dry and arid
I will definitely be going back and will make sure to go during these seasons. Thanks 😊
Cameroon is trying but we are definitely embarrassingly behind in so many ways. The more African countries I visit, the more I realize this. So sad! We have so much potential and could be a great touristic destination if the government invested in it.

I have traveled so much and things rarely ever go as planned. Those mishaps only add to the adventure (granted they’re unwanted adventure, lol). But they give stories that we never forget, like “remember that time when……” I’ve just learned to roll with it and make the best of it like y’all did.

The misadventures with the cars remind me of my trip in jamaica, plan cancelled, faulty car, rain, but it always end up being the best trips

I loved it there. It's peaceful and beaches everywhere. As a city girl, I will certainly get bored fast but I think it's a good vacation spot for those like me who needs some quietness after a hectic season. You will see it more on the next vlog.
