i dont think hes what riot teased.. they said we were getting another fast/aggresive dualist.. like jett/raze, this dude has no mobility skills.. is just as slow as all other agents. and as you said his E is very situational.. when im getting rushed by a whole enemy team i aint got time to flick to some target above my dead enemy to get a one-bullet shield
Double tap is crazy lol. You could have that + Undercut to gain the nuttiest upperhand during ult. But the craziest part is you know you'll tank 1 extra bullet. No more Jonas sova 1 shot line ups. 😂 jk u have to be very lucky to even have it up when suddenly 2 random arrows drop at you xD. But like really, you could just quick peek someone, shoot a random bullet, no need to be headshot, and hide, only for you to do the same thing but u shoot the buff instead. In most scenarios even, enemies mostly take cover after taking damage, so that is your ez opportunity to get the shield.

I wonder if that ult in a 2v1 can be used to take the enemy player out of commission for long enough for a spike defuse. Like, you ult with the intent to stall, not to fight

This is a good agent, I feel his kill shield shouldn’t be 1 hit break but should have some health, takes away game winning weapons like raze ult and op which might upset the community especially in ranked.
If it only tanks one hit at a time I can’t see it being too meta because it forces your crosshair out of head level to get the effect + you need a kill in the first place. Just my prediction though
He looks very balanced actually... the Double Tap ability doesn't seen that good, considering you'll have to take your aim off a potential threat to gain a single bullet shield (imagine teamfights). That said, his other skills are pretty good. The shield looks excellent for a push into plant site and a debuff that helps kill people 2x faster is always welcome. If the projectile goes through walls and etc. then, even better (i haven't seen if it does). The ultimate may pass as a mvp only thing but, if you consider you're going to remove someone (possibly the most annoying opponent) from the map for sometime, preventing a contest or disarm, then even a average player with Iso can cause a lot of trouble. Feels like a high-risk / reward agent, and that's fine.
i expected more of a aggressive duelist like neon and raze, i also considered an op agent since they did just nerf jett,, i though he could use his bulletproof like a dash and use that effect to op and when he misses he doesnt die cuz of his "bulletproof".
His ult gives your opponent a 50 50 chance to guess behind which shield are you, hence increasing your chance of winning the duel.
