I hopefully will go to heaven. But now I am praying for my Son and his girlfriend, who he has been living with for 4 years she is a nurse, and he works on the Navy base as a contractor. But they are into computer games big time. But the other day they told us that they are going to have a child it makes me happy. But they don't want to get married until the baby is born. And she told me that she is going to keep her last name. I am confused. And hurt. Can you guys give me some suggestions. I prayed over it. We will see.

@quasimodo614 I believe it was an answer to my last prayer when I was 14. I prayed to God that if he was there, he would show me or make me believe in him. I got no answer. On my 30th birthday, I was depressed and feeling sorry for myself. I was thinking crazy thoughts. ( very negative) Anyway, the next morning when I woke up, the first thing that popped into my head was "You know who that was messing with you." It was me realizing that those negative thoughts were unusual for me. I won't go into what I was thinking, but what was crazy was at that moment the accusation was toward the devil. I understand the accusation, but it didn't come from me. It's hard to explain. I didn't believe in the devil or God or any of it! So, where did that thought come from. I didn't go to church. I wasn't raised in church. I had been a few times. I was so confused. Why would I think that. Even more baffling was I thought maybe it's true. Anyway, it was Saturday morning. I couldn't get any of it off my mind. I was living alone at the time. All day, I thought about it. Then I came to the conclusion that maybe that was God revealing himself to me. Who else could put that in my mind. It was so subtle and powerful at the same time. The next day was Sunday. At this point, I was a little freaked out. Jesus's name started coming up. I said to myself that God must be real and he is reaching out to me. I know I needed Jesus, but didn't know enough about anything. I didn't have a Bible. The next day, I went back to work. God set me up. I went to talk to a coworker to unburden myself. I was really scared. I told her what happened over the weekend, and she just held my hands and listened to me. At the end of my story, I told her I think I need Jesus. She just happened to be a missionary!!! She borrowed a Bible from a coworker and we went in the break room to pray. She explained a few things to me from the Bible. I prayed with her and was saved right then and there. I wish I could explain better, but the pure joy I felt was incredible!

My biological father was an atheist for most of my childhood and early adulthood. He asked me what my proof of God was and I explained all the ways that God has shown himself to me. He was baptized 2 months later. I know he's in Heaven right now, waiting to reunite. I'm so grateful for that conversation. God loves all. An excellent idea.
Reading where the Bible promotes or condones such evils as _slavery_ (Exodus 21:20-21, Leviticus 25:44-46, Luke 12:47, etc.) _misogyny_ (1 Corinthians 14:34, Deuteronomy 22:13-21, 1Timothy 2:11-13, etc.) and _violence_ (Luke 19:27, Deuteronomy 21:18-21, 1 Samuel 2:3, etc.) was one of the things that led me to the conclusion of atheism.

I was a super stoner and decided to finally give it up. I was in an intense brain fog after getting off years of abuse and decided to finally pray. I got better the next day, and decided to pray again laying in bed past 12am on a Sunday morning. I asked Jesus to prove himself to me in a long thought out brutally honest prayer. He answered my prayer immediately with a beautiful vision of me leaving my past life. I was balling my eyes out, it changed me forever. My story is multiple hours long when I fully explain just that single day on a Sunday morning. It continues to grow and it happened 2 months ago, like exactly 2 months ago on January 21st... I'm starting to think it happend at the same time too since it's 2:00am rn. God is great and he'll change your life too if you just seek him and repent, it's literally that easy. I am a DRUG ADDICT, clean for 3 years now. Let me tell you how I am alive. My mama, who loves me so much and loves Jesus Christ, was at a place where she was cut open every time she tried to save me. She was so afraid that she would get a knock on her door and be told that I was found dead, overdosed in a ditch. She couldn’t do anything to help me and she was not okay due to worry, so one day she prayed, to the Lord, our savior, that she was placing me in his hands and trusting his will over me, she was praying for peace. I fill with tears every time I share this because, I know that my mom was so broken that she gave me to him to protect or take, and I was definitely covered in the blood of Jesus. He was there. With me in my darkest days and lowest places and he kept me alive when I tried to end it all. I was never alone and neither are you; God will walk with you in those dark, dangerous; enemy filled places and he will break those chains that enslave you.

I'm 82, got saved at 20, but believed in Jesus all my life. Love your story and sent it to my Granddaughter Melissa. She has fought drugs for years, spent a year in prison last year came out and is right back on. She has so much to give and it breaks my heart. She is the youngest of 3 girls and they have all been addicts. One lives on the street. Their Dad started them all on drugs. Melissa was taking college courses in high school. These 3 girls have 11 kids that have been raised by me and their Fathers. God bless you, Granny Rosey

Something similar happened to me. Especially the part about bawling. I fell into the fetal position on the floor and bawled like a baby for hours and all that negativity and hate and shame all came out. Jesus has to tear down the old building to build anew. That's why so many testimonies include the person bawling or sobbing for long periods of time. I believe it's the Holy Spirit entering you and finally convicting you of everything you've done, making you feel an immense sadness but also an immense joy and relief that you can finally let it go. Thanks for the testimony Kap. Great video. May God continue to shine His light on your path. Amen.

I was raised a Christian. And became an Atheist in high school. But Jesus never gave up on me. I didn’t even know it was Jesus talking to me at first. But then I had a really strong encounter with Jesus and I gave my life to him. It’s been a couple years now. I was a fool. Blind. I can’t imagine how I thought there was just nothingness. No purpose. And I’m so happy that Jesus rescued me from all that

Pray for my 39 year old son Mike. He was raised in the church, but now insists he was lied to about God and no longer believes there is a God. He's stopped talking to his sister who gave her life to God a year or more ago. He's my only son, and it's just breaking my heart to hear how he mocks us believers. I've been praying for decades for all 3 of my kids to come to God, only 1 has finally opened her eyes and heart to the Lord. My son I'm really worried about. So if you could add him to your prayer chains I would be eternally grateful 🙏

Campus Crusade’s has been around for at least 50 years. I once went to their College to hear someone speak..They actually teach Charity. The only thing God said. Love thy neighbor as thyself and Love the lord God with all thy strength. As helping the needy, poor, sick, etc.. Is spreading the good news.. As the person helping gets the benefit of knowing they helped. The person in need. Gets the benefit of knowing someone cares. Something Government robs people of. That personnel interaction..

As for Paul, AKA Saul he never knew him, never met him,and admits that all his source was from a supposed conversation with a voice in a bright light he had (and I will be kind here, )whilst undergoing an illusion episode, he started his letters circa Ad 25, of the 13 issued in the bible 6 are known not to be of his hand, his accounts are all without traceable source, without verification or corroboration of any persons known to have existed by that same criteria, the gospels and his letters are clearly as evidence of anything not worth the material written on. It's also a lie that not one secular or atheist scholar denies it, there are hundreds that do so, Price, Carrier, Fitzgerald, to name three off the top of my head, that biblical scholars are of a concensus he did is not evidence he did and it would be hard to believe they would be of anything but a concensus he did, after all their only source are the scriptures, the gospels and they are all products of Christian education establishments so have an agenda. I will.put it to you , (and please comprehend exactly what I text, I know it must've difficult for you) again, name one account, record by any person that is sourced, verified and corroborated by any known to have existed persons by that same criteria that is irrefutable, undeniable, indisputable, conclusive evidence of the existence of theJesus of the Bible character, for sure it's not any in or who ever did supposedly write the gospels, it's certainly not Saul of Tarsus, and it's certainly no historian known, and that includes Josephus, Tacitus, Pliny and any other you care to mention. And for your information I attended a Christian faith school for over 3 years and what I researched and discovered was in direct opposition to what they attempted to indoctrinate into me,if any reason if I was so inclined ,to punch them in the face it would be for teaching lies, lies apparently your indoctrinated bias allowed you to swallow wholesale without question. Now either offer the evidence I requested which is something not one person in the world has ever been able To do, ( make a name for yourself, be the first, world wide fame awaits, a hand shake from the king of Sweden too as he hands you your Nobel prize) or have the decency to say sorry and admit your talking of things you haven't a fucking clue of.

    Great testimony.
I had that same reaction when I gave my life to the Lord on the 24th February after being Atheist/Agnostic.
It's amazing everyone's testimony includes the need to ask for forgiveness, the crying, wanting to serve and sacrifice, the feeling of peace, love, etc. with little to no knowledge of the bible or anything to do with the Holy spirit. I was surprised to see so many testimonies with that same theme when it happened and I started to watch testimonies of other Christians who had turned to the Lord.
I had that feeling for a few days. Was the most amazing feeling of peace. Unexplainable feeling. However, I also had revelation for months. Just a rush of biblical knowledge and feeling the Holy Spirit. Up until one of the trials that threw me off track. Now I'm slowly being adjusted to deal with things better everyday. Friends have realised I don't swear as much as I used to and I'm more calmer than what I used to be, etc. I had a physical miracle (healing) happen which has given me the childlike faith that I needed, among other things.
I still have a bit to go but I'm getting there. Love my Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

Listening to your testimony gave me new hope.
Kap you described my middle son he is trapped in all the things you mentioned it was as if you knew my son and spoke just to me.
Now he, the middle one who is thirty years old is influencing the youngest who is turning twenty three this month of August.
The sad thing is they daily cuss me and mock me and hate me and told me to my face today that they will never respect me and will never like me. I serve the Lord wholeheartedly and was mocked to find a man and to get s..
Pray for them please they are blinded by sin.
I will continue to bless the Name of the Lord Jesus and keep the faith.
It is hard most days to even pray or read my Bible cause they hate gospel songs and sermons so much they'll insult me and put their demonic Rap music on so loud that I must sleep with headphones 🎧 on my ears to block out their noise.
If it's not cussing music, or violent horror movies, than it's their vampire video games or killing spree video games 🎮 🕹 where the shootings in the games and the cussing when they lanning with other players are hurting my ears through the headphones 🎧 on my ears.
It's worse than what I am explaining, I just want to runaway but I am unemployed and share one room bungalow with them.
I need the prayers of the believers cause I believe that God can change our unhappy dysfunctional lives too.
I will not give up on Jesus despite the torment and mocking I face daily 😢 😢😢

The Lord uses all of us (His children) in ways we never expect, and probably many times He has used us without us knowing it, but maybe up in heaven He will show us how He worked through us very subtly without our notice down here. I assume He does that because we'd think differently if God made us consciously aware of His Presence every moment of the day. He wants us to be more "natural" while in the world, I guess.
One time, back in around 1998, I was sitting at the computer in my mothers' house (I was 19 years old) and just watching the chatroom fly by. It was a Christian chatroom, on a site called: TalkCity , the chatroom was JesusCafe. So I was just watching the chat scroll by, not really participating in any discussion at the moment when this feeling of pride came over me seemingly out of nowhere. I was disgusted by the feeling, and puzzled why I had it, so I bowed my head, clasped my hands together and prayed: _"Lord, kill my pride?"_
Around 15 minutes passes and still just watching the chatroom fly by and, again, seemingly out of nowhere, for no reason I feel pride again, so I bowed my head again and prayed: _"Lord, kill my pride?"_
Around 20 minutes pass and, yet again, I feel pride come upon me out of nowhere, so this time I was frustrated and prayed much more fervently: *_Lord, PLEASE kill my pride?!_*
He answered me, saying: *_"I can't. It's already dead. I AM Living My Life through you."_*
My eyes opened instantly, I was shocked He even spoke to me, but I also felt comfort in His Words to me. So from that moment on I now knew that God Lives His Life through you and I without us even feeling it. He is very subtle most of the time, with exceptions (I've been through some experiences where the Lord worked very openly, but it's rare).
This is why when people *FEEL* like the Lord is not working through them, they should shove off that feeling and just KNOW in faith that *He Who began a Good Work in you WILL COMPLETE IT!* - Philippians 1:6 🙂
That is one of quite a few other experiences I've had over the years. I've been born again since 1996, when I was 17.

Similar story here, always told I was witchy always put into a box because people thought I wanted to be out there, come to find out Jesus was just waiting for me. I finally feel home and at peace, my outward appearance may be put off people, but IDC because he loves me just as I am 💕

I grew up in a Christian home. My parents took me and my 4 siblings to church every week; I prayed the magical salvation prayer with my pastor at the age of 10, so I was guaranteed a spot in heaven. It wasn't until I was in college did God open my ears and heart to the saving knowledge of the gospel and began a personal relationship with Jesus. I am so thankful for that campus college ministry that God used to bring me to Himself and made me His new creation to glorify Him. I'm also thankful for finding this content and being able to share it with others. ❤

I met God in my 1965 Mustang in college driving over the I-90 bridge westbound to Seattle. I just needed to know He was REAL. God did not disappoint me. He has never left me since that day I got Born Again.

Hi. Thanks for sharing your story. I'm a backslider myself. I was a Christian for 14 years. Left church and left the ways of God all together to go live almost 6 years as an atheist. And just 2 weeks ago I started going back to church. Not knowing at the time I needed God exactly. Wouldn't realize that until the following day. But I'm telling you since I've been back to church and fully embraced and accepted God into my heart and my life, God has been non stop showing me his love for me. And that he's loved me all this time. I can really relate to what you said about the atheistic life. It's very self centered in a lot of way but yeah there really is just no purpose and it just feels hopeless. A hopelessness I can't really even describe. And all that for me plus the weight of my past caused me to become chronically suicidally depressed. And I'll admit I'm still a bit stuck in my shame and guilt for some of the worse of my past actions but slowly God is working on me about that. But now I have hope where before there was none. Now I have forgiveness where I couldn't find it prior. God is good. Thanks again for sharing.

I used to do a show for Complete Nutrition in Omaha and I used to tell my wife that Omaha was a beautiful place! She used to raise an eyebrow and laugh! One of these days I’d like to take her there for her to see for herself. I’m glad called you there and I’m waiting for God to tell me where he wants me to be. I’m still fighting him and wanting to control everything in my life. I want to surrender, but the notion of it scares the crap out of me!!!
