In this video we discuss one of the latest releases from HP the M604-606 series of laser printers. Seems very close/similar to the last two releases by them.
If you are not familiar with this series printer this is a good intro. He pointed out some good points about this printer is similar to the older 4200 models. This is the first one I'm working on this model and now I feel more comfortable going to a customer location and taking care of there problems Thanks
You can actually set your printer in quiet mode for the M600 series for any kind M601-M606 all you have to do is go into the admin settings>General settings and you should look through the settings until you see quiet mode. Turn that on and try to print a config page and see the difference
Yes I did notice that as well. Funny how HP puts that feature in these machines now. Within a year or so of use most people will want to use that feature because they sure can get loud.
We have a hp Enterprise LJ M604dn and it works fine except the first print in the morning - has a small bit of gosting or some of the print is off set. Any ideas? We have changed the : transfer roller, the pickup rollers, the fuser and the toner cartridge and done a self cleaning but still have this issue with the first print in the morning. Otherwise is prints fine after the first print. Any idea's Thank you
Replica of canon lbp 351x , 352x . I put HP 281a toner catridge in canon lbp 351x replacing with canon chip, it's working fine. Actually toner tank of HP 264 a, HP 290a, HP 281a , canon crg 039 are same. Sharing identical Magroller, and opc drum
The white plastic pieces yellowing at different rates are really gonna make these new versions look terrible in short order...it is just cosmetic but it really makes a printer looked ragged and used
Looks like I'm not the only one who's irritated by this guy ripping and yanking packaging of that printer. I hate it when people don't show respect to their equipment.
sorry for the late response.... I don't like the new M607's or 608's at all. Our customers have had many issues with these brand new machines right out of the box. Perhaps we'll make a video regarding these issues soon!
Same here. I miss the M604/M605/M606 printers. These would be great for my school. I don't want to be rude, but I have three words for this machine: It's a Scam! $600?! We can't afford that!
@@elijahrosado3816 It is the exact same machine, most problems occurs with the all of the models from 601-9. Also in the video there is some incorrect information about the firmware updating. most common problem is with the problem on pick up roller, or the fuser, swing plate is not a common issue on the 604-609. the problem with 601-3 was the shield causing noise on the units.

you can do something called "retro brighting" seems to be mostly be peroxide based but, when it reacts with sunlight or UV it whitens it back up.

Where I am from, the M604 has not had any problems since day one.
And, surprisingly, the HP M607 has a detachable fuser, too. The P4015 series is a lot more cheaper. This series isn't.
