Hi. Maybe try getting in touch with your seniors through LinkedIn or Facebook and ask if they can recommend you somewhere. Also, drop an email to undergrad professors of subjects you're good at and ask if they need help in the coming semester. Apply actively once you get access to the portal.

Also, some on-campus jobs like working in the library, lets you study while on the job so maybe try finding only those if you think you might have a heavy course load in a particular semester. Love it, agreed on all points! I got my first job using tip 2, and networked well with professor and seniors to get the second part time job.
