So let's see - Premium mode is just the initial life and stage break settings behind a paywall, instead of being managed by the arcade operator. Coop is also locked behind Premium. USB isn't supported anymore and Premium requires AM Passes. So if either 1) The cab is offline 2) The cab doesn't have RFID readers installed or configured correctly 3) You don't have an AM Pass, as they aren't exactly easy to find Then you can't play Co-ops at all. So now you have features that were perfectly playable before and won't be anymore simply because you don't have an AM Pass or the cab is offline. Also 5 songs and no stage break off, with the possibility of extending the timer to 90s. 2 minutes per song, 20 seconds between the end and dance grade and around 70 seconds for selecting each song. You will get an average of 17 minutes wait between credits. With 5 players that goes to 1h25 wait time between turns. "Exclusive Premium commands". Basically the PASS command that skips the song entirely if you get more than 5 misses. A command that makes you play LESS paying MORE. Will be used by people with private cabs or places that run on Free Play, but definitively not by people who will have to wait 1h25 for a turn. Why not add BGA OFF as an exclusive command? Constant speed scroll mods? New Noteskins? Anything that would actually make it worth paying double? Single and Double Performance (aka. Normal and Double charts) from many songs removed for no reason at all. So now there's no midterm for players learning Double that want easy charts to practice. Who the hell thought all of this was a good idea?
I think, if they want to learn Double charts, they just can go to Level Difficulty Double and search the easiest one. I think it will be 6 to the easiest, but lets see

Thanks for putting this video up. Man it sucks to be a freestyler for phoenix seeing there's next to zero freestyling songs. Almost no kpop, and any songs that are there have their lower end doubles charts removed. I wonder if they'll make a return in a future update, at the least the charts.
Literally, all kpop-song from Fiesta to XX IT'S GONE with exception for Dreamcatcher (like a InSomnia this don't surprise me). A lot of pumpers love their songs cause' the fast chards and Dreamcatcher Company it's more accessible to negotiate the licenses of the songs in order to promote the group. It's a good oportunity to restructurate the kpop songs. I'm gonna miss you some songs, but... right now ot's okay. - Nxde by (G)I-DLE. - BOCA by Dreamcatcher. - After Like by IVE. And many others groups show it in the opening video... I got a feith lol

Now the easiest Double for First Love is 16 lol That's a very moronic decision, because myself I play these doubles all the time to rest between credits. Now I'm gonna have to spend time converting NX20 doubles to UCS to play songs that shouldn't have to be removed in the first place. Losing licenses is one thing, but removing charts altogether for no reason is just plain stupid.

Premium mode at the cost of 2 credits will get you 6 hearts, Break OFF for all stages, PASS command (to skip a stage when you get more than 4 misses), able to play COOP charts and exclusive songs (Altale and Etude Op 10-4)

En dónde vivo había una máquina medio oficial pero tenia muchas canciones de kpop jpop y de varias versiones de pump it up y la cambiaron por esta Phoenix 2023 y de 5 pesos ahora son 10 pesos y de kpop y de las pump it pasadas no hay casi nada :( solo 3 grupos de kpop y 6 de jpop 😢😢😢
But that is irreversible and imminent. Most KPOP licenses from the whole Prime2 and XX is expensive, yet it is better to remove them than to pay too much money for extending the license
R.I.P. Freestyle/Performance. If I was feeling discouraged to make a comeback during the XX days, Phoenix just finished burying any possibility of that happening. Now it is a shit show of oldies everyone likes and the DDRzation the franchise has been going through since Fiesta 2 music-wise, in which 90% of the songs sound the same (and by that I mean a never-ending Bumblebee vs Optimus Primal fight for their lives). Sad.
It seems like they increased a lot of double chart ratings under level 16, especially those with extensive half patterns and those with lots of movement because lower level players consistently had more trouble with them. I think they raised lots of ratings not just to correct errors, but also to rebalance the difficulty curve as a whole.
This version absolutely sucks! Changed the HEY WHY DON'T YOU JUST GET UP AND DANCE MAN! And everything is LOCKED behind a Premium Paywall, Stage Break INCLUDED. Nearly ALL K Pop Songs are GONE from last version. No More King of Sales, Love Scenario, Energetic, Winner Winner and all of those sort of songs. They have ALL been Killed off for Subpar Phoenix K-pop songs that aren't as good as previous release. If this is the Phoenix rising from the Ashes, keep me in the Ash Pile. Holy Shit this is bad!
Actually, the only things locked behind Premium mode is five stages instead of three, co-op, stage break, the pass option and two songs. Everything else can be played in Full mode. With that said, i do agree this version should have been lots better.
Maybe the "HEY WHY DONT YOU JUST GET UP AND DANCE" announcer was forced to play 1949 d28 and decided that maybe, you cant just "get up and dance man" xD

En dónde vivo había una máquina medio oficial pero tenia muchas canciones de kpop jpop y de varias versiones de pump it up y la cambiaron por esta Phoenix 2023 y de 5 pesos ahora son 10 pesos y de kpop y de las pump it pasadas no hay casi nada :( solo 3 grupos de kpop y 6 de jpop 😢😢😢

R.I.P. Freestyle/Performance. If I was feeling discouraged to make a comeback during the XX days, Phoenix just finished burying any possibility of that happening.
Now it is a shit show of oldies everyone likes and the DDRzation the franchise has been going through since Fiesta 2 music-wise, in which 90% of the songs sound the same (and by that I mean a never-ending Bumblebee vs Optimus Primal fight for their lives). Sad.
Wonder why they increased First Love to a D15, it wasn't even a D14 imo...
It seems like they increased a lot of double chart ratings under level 16, especially those with extensive half patterns and those with lots of movement because lower level players consistently had more trouble with them. I think they raised lots of ratings not just to correct errors, but also to rebalance the difficulty curve as a whole.

This version absolutely sucks! Changed the HEY WHY DON'T YOU JUST GET UP AND DANCE MAN! And everything is LOCKED behind a Premium Paywall, Stage Break INCLUDED. Nearly ALL K Pop Songs are GONE from last version. No More King of Sales, Love Scenario, Energetic, Winner Winner and all of those sort of songs. They have ALL been Killed off for Subpar Phoenix K-pop songs that aren't as good as previous release. If this is the Phoenix rising from the Ashes, keep me in the Ash Pile. Holy Shit this is bad!
Actually, the only things locked behind Premium mode is five stages instead of three, co-op, stage break, the pass option and two songs. Everything else can be played in Full mode.
With that said, i do agree this version should have been lots better.
Maybe the "HEY WHY DONT YOU JUST GET UP AND DANCE" announcer was forced to play 1949 d28 and decided that maybe, you cant just "get up and dance man" xD
