Thanks, Mike. I loved the FJ since I was a kid, but something about the Pro Line body just didn't look right. A few actually. Compromises were made by the designers to have it fit the TRX4. Really happy with how my experiment turned out. And yeah, that combo handles tricky terrain so nice. Straight axles are good for sideslopes. Now to glue down the seams.
Awesome job, I can hardly tell where the cut was done! Nice that you did the whole Photoshop mock up before making that fist cut, I love how it came out!

5:40 was one of MY favorite scenes. lol Geat work on this body. So you cut it where you did. Then shifted it back and reattached? Actually looks good and everything lines up well AND it is capable... WIn, win. lol Very nice video as well. :) Never heard anything from your friend yet??? Have a great weekend
Thanks so much, Nickster. Saw your latest video and liked it, but I was using the big screen TV, and therefore unable to leave a comment. Will have to circle back. In the thumbnail and opening freeze frame of my video, you can see where I chose to make the cuts. I scored it with an Exacto and snapped it. Plus I used Dubro Lexan curved scissors (highly recommend them). I was only supposed to slide the hood back 12mm but it looked best at almost 20, so that's where I drilled the holes and put in four nbws. Gonna apply a little glue to the seams today, after looking carefully at the footage. It was 36C with high humidity in the woods that day, so that visit to the river near the end that you like was just the thing. Great place to wash away all the accumulated mud too. My friend is legit stoked to look you up when he's out there. Let me check because I think he said 2024, not this year. Cheers and have a great weekend yourself eh
