    Can I just say... I DID IT! I’ve been working on the EB for about 3 months with no success, I watched your video a couple times and WHAM. Now I’m no pro... but I’m learning! Thank you!

      No problem. They take some work, but once you get them sorted, they are great tricks to know

    wow the EB worked for me! others teach to start with a side swing, but that always tangles the rope all around me.

    • @Jumpropesecrets
      @Jumpropesecrets  4 роки тому +1

      There's slightly different techniques that work for each trick. I find this way is a bit easier to learn. Once you've got it down, then you can try different variations. Glad you got it!

    I would love to know what type of rope you use Peter. Is it vinyl or beaded? Or something different entirely? 🙏

    • @Jumpropesecrets
      @Jumpropesecrets  4 роки тому +2

      The 2 primary ropes I use are a poly mix (not vinyl) plastic speed rope and a beaded rope. The exact rope I use can be found at jumprm.com/product/action-jump-rope/
      There are a lot of good ropes out there, but this one is my favorite and the same exact type I've been using for my entire jump rope career.

    What does EB stand for? Can't figure it out, it's like an Inception puzzle

    • @Jumpropesecrets
      @Jumpropesecrets  4 роки тому +1

      It's either the initials of the person who created it or the first initial from the 2 people that created it (Eric & Beth??). Many skills in jump rope are just the initials of the person (or people) that made up the skill. For instance T.J. Triple cross is named after Tommy & John (that one I'm 100% certain of the names). Unless you've been involved in the sport competitively that's an easy bit of trivia that is lost on most everyone.

    What rope are you using ?

    • @Jumpropesecrets
      @Jumpropesecrets  3 роки тому

      I use the action jump rope jumprm.com/product/action-jump-rope/ I helped design it with my old jump rope coach. There are a lot of good ropes available out there. This type is a plastic blend speed rope if you're looking at other sites. The other main types of ropes are the beaded rope and wire speed rope. Each type of rope has their place.
