I saw this play this past March while in DC, and I must say I don't think I've heard a better version of this song yet. Extreme talent here; I wish I could see this performance again, absolutely stunning!
If this whole production was this fresh and exciting, I know I really missed something. I am a Dolly fanatic and I love to see new visions of its staging. I caught just a glimpse of the Dolly in this - but she looked terrific!

Beautiful singing, staging, costumes, scenic... but the lighting is so dark! Leavin' on that midnight train from Yonkers, I guess.
