    Clay colored stool,dark yellow urine is due to obstructive jaundice.........but how......when common bile duct is obstructed then how can bile can get absorbed in the intestine n ll get break down in the presence of bacteria ........

      Sir you might be misunderstood a part , he first explained normal physiology, bile goes to intestine then by becteria convert into stercobilinogen and urobilinogen and they excrete respectively in stool and urine. Now if CBD is obstructed bile cant go to intestine and bile doesn't convert in sterco and urobilinogen .. as there is absence of stercobilinogen stool becomes clay colored. As serum conjugated bilirubin is increased and it is watersoluble it excretes in urine (edited)

      @@tamannaislam2429 urine color become dark in obstructive jaundice because of high serum conjugated billirubin because it is water soluble hence excrete by kidney
