Yes, they do become part of the whole family. Our dog really belongs to my sister and I, but she loves my mom the most. (Which is fine with us, since they bonded when my father passed away. It's also so adorable how much she is attached to my mom.) I agree with picking papers that compliments your pictures. I don't get many of the pet papers since they usually are in the brown colors and my dog is black and white and our past dogs were grey. I think red, black, and blue colors look better with them. We got our dog at the beginning of Covid also, which was great since it was just before the lockdown and my dad passed about a month and a half after we got her. I like how you added the faux stitching.
Oh I lost my dad 2 years ago next week and his dog has become my mum’s a s well. Ivy is my daughter’s but she is very attached to me and my husband, sleeping with him most nights. He has a heart condition and she is an empath. She knows when something is not right with people and she just goes and sits with them. Thank you for watching and sharing your story. I really love how our craft brings people together.🧡🧡🧡
