Because he knows there can be no Komodo dragons in Bali. Komodo dragons are only found on Komodo Island, Nusa Tenggara Timur. And also He was use to seeing it.

It's not a "KOMODO" but still the same species as the Komodo dragon. The name is "BIAWAK" or Balinese people call it "ALU"

Biawak is usually scared of humans so it's pretty safe. They eat snakes and rats, so it's better for your surroundings.
Very interesting that we call the monitor lizard the same but with different spelling. In the Philippines it is spelled as "BAYAWAK".

I thought the hotel staff reaction was quite funny when Hyukjae Oppa said he saw a Komodo 😂😂 he looked slightly puzzled and laughed a little when he replied that’s a lizard 😂 E Oppa is funny even when he isn’t trying to be funny 😂

오늘 브이로그 킬포가 몇개인지... 발리에 한국 음식이 저렇게나 많은 것도 신기하고 발리의 노을이 이렇게나 이쁜데 이걸 카메라에 담아온 정성이 너무 고맙고♡ 호텔 앞에 도마뱀? 자꾸 크다고 하고 직원분한테도 코모도라고 한거 너무 긔엽다그요... 하지만 찐은 분위기 개쩌는 밤수영이다... 보는 내내 대리행복했던 영상!! 2탄 기대할게요💙💙

That is not a Komodo, Eunhyuk. It's biawak (Varanus salvator). One species of lizard. Local people in Bali call it "Alu". They are living in the river.
