I played this whole album during the intro/seating at my wedding. There were a few in the crowd that couldn't wipe the stupidly huge smirk from their faces.
I was looking for a piano composition of I miss you to play and sing to for inspiration. I found this album and it's just beautfiul. Blink have been my favorite band for 20-21 years. Every album sounds even better to me. The stories they've told, the jokes, the inspiration from their personal sharing of what their life is. It inspires me, and saved my life when I was most depressed in highschool. They inspired me to play guitar and have an amazing appreciation for the world of music as I became a musician myself because of them, I have lived a sad life but I have one thing I'm proud of because of them. Songs I've made that I can sit there and say for once "I'm proud of that", without their music I know I'd not have that at all right now in this dark world. I'm glad they inspired this. Beautiful compositions. I sent them all the link on instagram hopefully they see these pieces.
Coming up on 5 years- in a few days. Still married. Was recently reminiscing about life, at the beach, and the “Blink 182 Piano seating music” topic came up. Needless to say shit was on blast the rest of the evening. Glad to see the growth Lucas, and thanks for making that day a little bit more subliminally special.

omg! as someone who grew up listening to blink (actually i play the drums caus of travis) this is like being old and remembering songs of your youth with a nostalgic and emotional touch... and im just 24 -.-

You did a really great job at making these songs work on the paino. Thank you for being inspired to do this. It really means a lot to me, and probably a few other too.

I'm not sure why, however, also if there are no vocals it feels like the direct message of the song resonates through the tones. Let me start by saying that Blink-182 is my third favorite band of all time following The Beatles and Ween. And I listen to A HUGE selection and variety of music. This sounded like a pretty good idea for a wedding seating intro, I love all of these songs, and am having my wedding in 5 days. But then after listening, most of these songs don’t even sound like the actual Blink songs. Not sure if you’re just playing the piano part of the song…? But it certainly doesn’t sound like the melodies of the songs. So I listened a little further, and basically just came to the conclusion that the only reason someone would play this album during their wedding seating is because they either don’t have any better ideas, or they’re aiming to put their guests to sleep before the ceremony even starts.
