He reminds me of a modern day Stevie Wonder. He has so many great songs to choose from-but TheWind is a fav. Not a singer, but learning to hear so much than just the words. My Husband is a speech -language therapist and his medical jargon makes SO much sense mixed with your vocal expertise. Thank you for such a wonderful way to look at art!

It's just a demonstration of good rhythm. Typically singers don't prioritize learning musicianship and/or rhythm. It's a mistake that comes with significant consequences if they want to 1. Record a song and 2. Work with other musicians.
@@pika7623 A little bit of both. Its nice to have it there for reference, but a singer really needs an internal metronome. It also has a little to do with technique. If you hit a consonant too hard, you can easily go slightly off time.

I am the volume knob. I just said something like that 3 weeks ago in the jazz club jam session. One of the musicians gestured for me to ask the band leader to turn up the mic for me because I was singing Them there eyes on bass notes and it naturally blends with the electric bass at times. I my signs back were thums up, knod and a stomac pat LOL I recommend practicing with #Smule, also and doing duets with people... it helps with TIMING. my mom's biggest critique of me is timing. she is tryign to get me more pop, because I like drawing out notes and being lazy on vowels unless singing classical LOL
