From my experience it's the smoother stemmed one that is sweet and the hairy stemmed one that is less flavorful, tastes more like carrot and less like anise.
It REALLY helps when you don't just use the scientific name for the video title. Half the time I have no clue what plant the video is about until I start watching.
One year I brought like 10 pots of European sweet cicely to market to sell, beautiful plants. No one bought them!

Where is mountain garden
I would be too afraid of confusing it for hemlock to grow it out of a pot.
I think the smell of the crushed leaves would help identify that it is not poisonous hemlock.
