Whether he 'deserves' it or not, it's vintage TK to have Joe vacate the title when he could've lost it right there and moved on. Even if the finish was screwy to protect Joe, Keith would've gone over and finally had momentum.

@@cliffordjackson3NAH man, Joe could've been beaten with a technical pin. This buried both Keith, and the title. Such a weird booking decision, especially in the current landscape wherein the titles feel as irrelevant as they are.
It's rare for Samoa Joe to be the smaller man in a fight. But this might be Keith's best singles match in AEW since his debut. He needs this. If only Lee had finally gotten a good title or feud.
Most if not all of the big men Joe fights are bigger than him.
At one point I thought Samoa Joe was cooked a few years ago, but now I want him to be next champion more than anything.
His matches have been so good, with everyone, he is incredibly menacing and intimidating, with great stories in everything he get's involved in. He'd be very compelling going forward.
They should've saved this match for Full Gear and let Keith Lee win the title, btw great match 🔥💪

If they were going to have Joe vacate the title, I feel like it would have been a better move to have him face Jay Lethal for the title to defend his Longest Reign record, have the whole Jeff Jarrett faction interfering with no help, he overcomes them all only just barely to capture the record and then he vacates immediately afterwards.

I don’t see how people are defending this. Why have Joe retain the title only to vacate the damn title right after the match? Khan could’ve just let Keith win the title, but instead, he’s still making Keith question his own decision to jump ship.
i think it's more of less about Keith's health. He can still go but he's been wrestling less frequently due to his health. He was racked with issues regarding his heart stemming from Covid years ago. Honestly, if this was the plan with Joe there were going for all along, they should had Keith win and be a transitional champion before dropping it someone else.

I am glad that people in the comment section are criticizing this move, I mean how can u not put the title on Keith Lee when he gave such a fantastic performance against Joe and as we found out Joe vacated the title which makes more agonizing for Keith Lee. It seems tony has some kind of vendetta against big men whether it is not managing Wardlow's TNT reign properly, misuse of lance Archer and Keith Lee and i can go on. Tony needs to realize that apart from talented Mid-size wrestlers, the Big man are very vital to the world of Pro-Wrestling.
Can't have Joe lose a lesser title and then declare himself hungry for the biggest one. They need to keep him looking strong/like a believable threat to the world champion.

I would treat the ROH title like the X-Division title where u can trade it in for a world title shot. That being said either Joe or Wardlow should take the title from Max. Or maybe Joe first then Wardlow takes it from Joe down the line so they can build both men up better.

This booking decision makes no sense. Why do this to Lee? All that work to both lose AND have the champ shove it in his face afterward? I get that you want to make Joe look like a strong contender for MJF, but one: MJF has already beaten Joe, and two: Why do it at Keith's expense, of all people? Keith needed this a LOT more than Joe did. Keith is already not featured nearly enough, and now he's been buried by this decision. Just bad booking. It's a real shame, because the match was great.

I didn’t know people in Louisville celebrated Halloween on November 8th. MOST OF THE FANS DRESSED UP AS EMPTY SEATS
Considering AEW does not use the deadliest move in sports entertainment (aka the surprise roll-up) as much, this could've easily been the finish of this match to give the title to Keith while keeping Joe looking strong ahead of his world title picture with MJF. This just felt like burying the title, and to some degree, Keith Lee as well.

Its like being on the top of the mountain. There isn't much air and relinquishing the title and beginning a new chase allowed him to breath. He can now say he held the ROH TV Title and never lost it but let it go to chase a bigger prize
Keith Lee should fight to win the belt in whatever tournament they set up to establish a new ROH champion but I think it was smart to have Joe go out on top as champion and make him a serious threat to MJF

This is the second biggest mistake Tony Khan has made since All In. The first was having Saraya lose her title to Hiraku Shida instead of retaining and having a feud with Ruby Soho and Toni Storm over the next year. Keith Lee should have won because Samoa Joe isn't going to challenge MJF until World's End next month, which is plenty of time for him to build himself back up after this lost.
