Naw, you can't block the sidewalk. You want a private drive , move out of the burbs. I live in the city and wish people would get ticketed more for blocking the sidewalk.

Suburbanites can be such victims when they violate the law.

First of all NBC4i this is a misleading headline. She wasn’t ticketed for parking in her driveway. She was ticketed for illegally blocking the sidewalk. I wish they would ticket people more often for this. Why have rules if you don’t enforce them?

The white car down further also looks like it has parked over the sidewalk too.

I hope they got a ticket too... It's very annoying when people do this and it happens ALL THE TIME

She was ticketed for parking on the sidewalk. She has plenty of room in her driveway to pull ahead and clear the sidewalk. What is her beef with the neighbors that she feels a need to block the sidewalk. NBC4i needs to investigate her motives.

This happens everyday, report REAL news not bullshit like this that’s a very common city ordinance. Someone complained and the chief had enough of this shit.

People pay enough taxes without some Barney Fife sticking his hand in their pocket. The proper procedure was to issue a warning. If it was me I would check the cars in the area to ensure I was not singled out.

Statutes is commercial law. Parking is NOT a crime, where is the injured party?

Are you serious? Parking can be a crime.... That's why we give out fines and have parking meters.. handicap parking... no blocking hydrants....

@@Richard-wu4cj crime against who? Commercial Crime yea but what part of any Constitution says one cannot park on private or public lands. I'll wait. Commercial Insurance Officer

@@malikdey-nativemoor2923 OK lets have a little fun.. here you go.. I looked up the exact law that specifically mentions parking over a sidewalk. It looks like the sidewalk is a public sidewalk meant to be enjoyed by "everyone".. I guess the victim that comes to mind first and foremost would be someone in a wheelchair... that couldn't easily go around the vehicle.. but either way.. It's a law and if you have issue with that law take it up with your local council person or elected official instead of crying about it on here. You only had to wait 8 minutes ;-)

@@Richard-wu4cj I asked for the law. You sent a Commercial code written by the bank (bench) and the British Accreditation Registry (BAR). So my question is who gave the bank and a private British Association to construct or write any laws for United States Republic of North America (1791)? They may have power in the U.S. Democracy (1871) or State [corporation] of Ohio (1956), which is NOT Ohio State Republic ordained in Northwest Ordinance. I also hope the imaginary person in the wheel chair gets that finance for being injured. Also wonder why the person in wheelchair did not file a complaint herself. But again I'll wait

Because of COVID, all these cops have to get creative to reach their quotas.

Shame on Columbus City for that ticket . She was in her driveway . Funny how parking on any street is ok . Your driveway you bought but the street that's not yours is ok ? Lmao
