I am sick with COVID 19 and I cannot fast due to this. I’m very sad not being able to break my fast with my family. Inshallah I get better.

Allah y shaffik.
I became I'll and had to break at day 5, am a revert and only 39, my body could not handle it. I tried with my fibromyalgia and osteoarthritis. My nervous System went into shock. Then the inevitable happened so had to break again after my recovery then went to start again, and made dua for good health then that same day recieved a phone call to attend for a long awaited operation on Tuesday. My husband has been nursing me through.
It seems when I push to learn and work hard for Allah, I have exhaustion and everything has a domino affect, but when I go back to basics with my deen and make my supplications Allah has provided, and has eased our life/work deen balance. Allah is the best of Planners, Alhamdulliah.
Subhanallah i never get bored of mufti menk’s videos. Always happy and smiling and speaking in a very polite manner. May Allah protect him and his family, he is a very unique person ❤️
There is a reason Allah has given this mercy to breastfeeding and pregnant mothers. Many studies show that sometimes there is no effect, but other studies show fasting mothers in Ramadan have lower birth weights and placenta issues. Allah gave us this protection for us and our babies. I know some women who say they fast one day then rest the next and follow this pattern during Ramadan and this is much better for them. We just need to be careful giving advice based on our observations. Just because we know a woman who fasted while pregnant and everything turned out fine doesn’t mean it should be recommended. Especially if the woman has gestational diabetes or anemia due to pregnancy which are both very common in pregnancies these days. Talk to your doctor or midwife if you want to fast while pregnant!! And remember Allah gives us mercy in these regards for a reason. Isn’t the wisdom of Allah more sound than our own wisdom??

Jazakamullah khayr for clarifying the issue of qadah and fasting 6 days in shawwal. I had cnfusions about it for years coz they said that a person cannot fast during shawwal if fasting in the month of ramadan were not completed. Its just made me happy .

Me too I better fast during Ramadhan. For the first time I'm even fasting pregnant Al hamdulillah. The month of Ramadhan its way to blessed to miss. Plus its a great opportunity for women to fast in they pregnancy because they don't have to make up for any day. May Allah easy our paths.

Subhannallah, Thank you brother.......sometimes I try as hard as possible to fast but Some days my body cannot handle the fast due to heat and low bloodsugar. May Allah grant us who cannot fast easily the ability to fast. I repent when I cannot.

Somehow Alhamdulillah I manage to fast during pregnancy. Both kids are doing well and alhamdulillah they both want to do fasting in young age without me asking... Alhamdulillah...

Dear Mufti, can you please do a video addressing “bad parents”- there are countless videos talking about good treatment to parents etc but none talking about parents who lie, backbite, swear, gossip, don’t pray, do bidah, arrogantly don’t take Islamic advice, are narcissistic and self entitled, aren’t good examples to their children yet still demand respect, money and attention etc from their children, simply because they are the parent. I don’t see any videos addressing these parents, and how they should change themselves for the sake of Allah first before it’s too late but also so that the children have something TO respect. It’s not enough to simply have birthed and raised your child, you also need to be the best Muslim role model for them to love you.
Allah swt says to treat your parents with respect even if they are non Muslim.
@@nasmabegum7563 bad parents that don’t set good examples for their children need to be addressed so that they can improve.
There are videos by Usthad Numan Ali Khan and Mufti Menk about this topic. You can also do your own research from hadith and Qur'an. As in to have mercy on your offspring and not to curse them as the angels say Ameen. Children can also make dua for parents for Allah swt to grant hidayah too.
People change through love and respect. That's what Islam teaches.
@@nasmabegum7563 I have watched all of those videos, none are specific to the situation I am talking about. An arrogant parent is barely going to do their own research are they? They need it spelled out for them in a video. And you shouldn’t assume the children aren’t making dua for their parents.
