Buddy was a unique individual. Most folks don't know that Buddy could preach. After A Landel sermon, 50 plus teenagers dedicated their lives to Jesus Christ. The gathering was in or near Lake City, Fl. He had so many wrestling skills and knew his limits. It's a shame he left us early. Buddy, enjoy your rewards and rest in Heaven.

I like him better when he's riding the hell outta some inferior opponent, and enjoying every frickin alpha-feelin second of it...

70's and 80's were the best. True wrestling. The reason why snowflakes don't like this is because they have no attention and no real concept of true wrestling psychology and The story telling back then. The stuff today is not for me. But I don't feel the need to leave nasty remarks from people who live gaming.

That's the best robe I ever seen Buddy Landell, wear. He should have can the want to be Ric Flair,. Mr. Flair, was still a top wrestler and try a different gimmick maybe he would have been more successful.

More successful? Dude he was on top main eventing Flair in 85..He won the national title and was positioned to be in line for taking the belt from flair according to Dusty Rhodes who was the booker in JCP in 85..He was a main event player in almost every territory post 84, from JCP, Memphis, Knoxville, Mid South, etc... Unfortunately his self admitted drug and alcohol addiction cost him his run in JCP and he couldn't sort himself out until the early 90's..When he then suffered a career ending injury..

The crowd appreciated Buddys work. They were totally into it. No one needs to be thrown off a cage.
