I've been really into ELF lately. The newer plumping gloss is awesome with the bigger doe foot. The regular gloss I love more than colourpop, I really love ELF'S shades better. And I love the balms and the new foundation! Not to mention the tubing mascara, I have it in black and brown! ELF has really been killing it!

I’m disabled and will never be able to afford high end so I love drugstore makeup. My new problem is I have horrible melasma and even “full coverage” isn’t covering my dark marks all over my face. Lately I’ve been using wet n wild incognito concealer and that’s the best I’ve found so far but need to try more products. The problem with this incognito concealer is that it breaks me out unfortunately. I’ll have to find something different soon. And I like that it’s $5 and I use it all over my face and buy like one tube a month and I use a lot of it so it’s affordable
Nikki La Rose has a very long video that reviews drug store concealers only. She actually applies them. . Be sure to wear your sunscreen religiously. You can use general sunscreen instead of products in the cosmetics department designed for faces. .
The Milani Weekend Brow has become my go-to, and I have purchased several. I am glad that someone is mentioning their setting spray. I have been buying it over and over for two to three years, and recently switched to the Urban Decay ( yellow bottle) All Nighter, for a change but on me, it does not do anything more than the drugstore one you have mentioned. I don't usually have the greatest luck with Milani products, but these two are definitely stars for me.
I bought the Essence Blushin Berry shade and I love it sooo much! I like makeup that looks soft and natural, like watercolor. This shade wears beautifully on its own. Also I think the applicator is nice (great for travel) you just have to be delicate with twisting open and close the product, don’t push to hard. I apply tiny amount to cheek and then blend out with brush.
I love all of your content! I just wish the inflation would go down bc I feel the drugstore prices would go back to cheaper again (cheaper like before) 😢 your skin always looks so healthy and glowy within!
Love the Elf XL Mascara. It rocks!!! I can get a natural look or a very voluminous wow/pop look. Versatile. And it comes off easily. What could be better?
Can you demonstrate how you get your eyeliner and shadow to go out past the lash line on the outer corners? It looks so good and I would love to know what you use and how you do it! I’ve tried! Mine never turns out right. It may be because I’m 60 years old and my eyes are too wrinkly!
Oh, that’s so nice of you, I can definitely film a video on it! 💗 I actually deal with some texture on the outer corners of my eyes and I have some tricks that help eyeshadow apply better so I will do a video on it soon!
you might consider using scotch tape, or washi tape which has low adhesive and is gentler on the skin around the eyes. I’ve used tape for years to get a hint of a wing (sometimes even a bigger wing!) and have gotten compliments on my liner. I’m middle-aged but have quite loose skin on my eyes - taking my time and using tape definitely works for me. 🙂

Those Catrice eyeshadow palettes are fantastic - I have them in all color shades they offer. I would recommend ordering them directly from Catrice online; they package them carefully. Amazon just throws them in a box and they tend to break.
21:52 that is so weird- im finally catching up on some videos this week while doing my makup and clicked on yours- while trying out the elf duo chrome in extraterrestrial too!! i applied it as a second liner above a darker blue liner and it looks so good! And that was all over just bronzer in the crease and lower eyelid so it is a totally “wearable” fun little pop. Btw- im 51 with kinda hooded lids and it is still working great. 👍🧡👍🧡
Excited to try the elf duchoromes! I have not had much luck with mascara...the Milani Highly Rated flakes and smudges on me and th elf Lash XTNDR come off when my eyes water.

No lip gloss will ever beat the stickiness of MAC lipglass! I LOVE that stuff! It actually lasts, unlike non sticky lipglosses. I love a good sticky lipgloss and they are so hard to find! 😢

Great recommendations! I can't do Sephora anymore. Aside from being too expensive, I always have a very uncomfortable experience in-store. It's a known problem for persons of color. So I just avoid it all together. Not worth my time.

Great recommendations! I can't do Sephora anymore. Aside from being too expensive, I always have a very uncomfortable experience in-store. It's a known problem for persons of color. So I just avoid it all together. Not worth my time.
