HILE TO SANO PATHIVARA TEMPLE | TRAVEL VLOG

Hile, a small hill town in the Eastern region of Nepal, lies 13 kilometers north of Dhankuta Bazar, the region’s administrative headquarters. It is well-known for its erratic climate variations, which make it a distinctive tourism destination. The village is surrounded by verdant hills, and tourists enjoy visiting because of the friendliness of the locals.
One of the famous religious sites in Ilam is the Sano Pathibhara Temple. People often confuse this temple with the Pathibhara temple in Taplejung as the names are almost the same. If you're wondering, yes, the temples are connected! The temple in Taplejung and the temple in Ilam are believed to be sisters, and the one in Ilam is said to be the younger one. Hence, the name has "Sano" (meaning small) in front of it. People are most likely to visit the Pathibhara temple in Taplejung the other day after visiting here as Taplejung district also lies in the same province and can easily be reached through the Phidim road.
