Just tried it. The answer is barely, and I wouldn’t trust it. The original ends are that hard plastic, while the extenders are metal, and longer obviously, so will tighten deeper into the handle while reinforcing it much better. The material of the original ends is solid, but it just doesn’t go deep enough to have that much weight on it. A 25 and a 10 on each end, or a 35, is about as far as you will want to go with it, per Kensui’s recommendation. You’ll need the extenders, it handles two 25 plates on each end no problem.
Should be. Also, someone posted a video in the Kensui Facebook group using the extenders and having 110 lbs on each Adjustabell and said there’s no problem.
@Theology Geek Fitness I have the ironmaster dbs. I wanted an extra pair of handles but geez they are expensive. Thess are perfect since the they fit a standard 1 inch hole and I don't need a lot of weight if I use these . Thank you so much !

I was hoping to hear back from them about testing the extenders. Seems obvious that they should want to do so.

Are they spinlock?
Kinda. The ends screw in to tighten down the plates, but there is no overhang. The ends are flat.
Are they metal?
No, they are a hard nylon, same as their EZ-Vest Pro. The extensions are metal though.
