As a Zilong main you basically nailed it in the head all of his weaknesses. You need really good game sense to make use of his skills. The best way to get an advantage in lane is to try and get the crab first and try to clear the lane as fast as possible to roam around the map to get kills before returning. Of course its hard as a Zilong main but Great Dragon spear is actually really amazing for him. The extra move speed totals up to 70% which is faster than sprint. He literally can out run basically every hero without a dash and it makes closing the distance so much easier. Use Dragon spear it was built for him! Literally
I won't put him at bottom tier. Cz he's situational but very effective pusher and lane clear hero.If u focus only on split pushing then he will win 95% of games.
Only thing disagree is julian, he is strong at poking and escapability + the early lvl 3 power spike to zone enemies from lvl 4 or can fast rotate turtle. Granted he is not the best maybe average or situational but not a bad pick
Well, he's close to average, but IMO he doesn't really offer much besides a power spike at lvl 3 and outclassed by everything else. Much more suitable to playing as a Jungler where he can abuse that lvl 3 power spike more effectively.
I sort of agree with Lukas' dash, it doesn't go through thick walls and the teleport-to-enemy-back is a double- edged sword BUT perhaps it just needs some getting use to. I can't really complain since a dash is still a dash.
Notes: - The Tank category heroes can always get Cursed Helmet to somewhat clear faster. It's not the best def item but it's a cheap source of high HP. - Most Tank category heroes, Barats, and Tank Chou could get a Guardian Helmet after a couple of defense components or Thunder Belt if you believe you're that good at stacking. The heal it provides when offcombat is broken in the hands of an EXP-laner, compared to Roams who are more subject to taken hits. - What were Badang's buffs again?
Most important the ult stun duration was improved from 0.6 to 1s imo. IMO he was already good before he became popular, but the buffs put him in the spotlight.
I go Tigreal exp if I don't trust our roam. My team calls me troll and freaks out but it works like a charm. First item cursed helmet and just calculated teamfights since you lack damage.
I see people commenting saying "pick what you like" or "it's not about meta". First of all, we're talking about solo rg, if you are playing classic then troll/experiment all you want but in rg you have to go by the meta or you will never and I say NEVER leave epic/legend with that mindset. Meta changes every time and you have too. Let's say you're good at this certain hero but then the enemy already picked a hero who can counter or who's strong at laning than your hero, will you still force pick it? If yes, then I hope I don't meet you at my side of the team.
Honestly, Alice has been really good in exp lane lately. After the latest and millionth change to her passive, playing her has been much easier. Although it might just be me and my experience as playing the blood or passive version a lot in the past. But still I think she's solid. Not bad. Yesterday I had a rank game with her against Thamuz and I actually out damaged him and won the lane. Her mobility and kitting helps a lot. And once I can get ahead with her, it's awesome. Her ult clears the wave in a jiffy, like always. But my team was also good. If I had a particularly bad team, like if I had to solo carry the whole team then Alice would definitely struggle much more than some other side laners. I'm in Legend
Nah, her nerfs really took a toll on her capabilities, you can just buy radiant armour and her damage greatly decreases. Pair that with Dom ice while you're a sustain, she's still badly nerfed.
Loved this tier list. The way you talk about their strengths and weaknesses makes it really good. I would also suggest you to add best builds or core items for the heroes and emblems. Anyways, the tierlist is goated. Keep it up and I hope you make these tier list after every month, or if the meta changes. Thank you❤❤
As an EXP laner i mostly agree with this list, however i heavily disagree with julian as his power spike at lvl 3 is insane. Keep making more of these list Ruby im loving 'em!
Well, he's close to average, but IMO he doesn't really offer much besides a power spike at lvl 3 and outclassed by everything else. Much more suitable to playing as a Jungler where he can abuse that lvl 3 power spike more effectively.

Can you Explain Further why Lukas is Good? I have not been doing good playing as him, When he first came out people didn't know how to deal with him so I did good but recently I've been playing horribly as him now that people know how he works. Maybe its my build? I have only war axe as dmg and use fighter for emblem. Or y'know, maybe it's just a skill issue on my part.
His ult transformation is basically it. It alongside war axe and queen wing give you a lot of sustain and good damage even if the rest of your items are defence. Also he has a lot of cc which disrupts a lot of enemy teams and can kind of bully the tank away from teammates. Thunderbelt is a relatively popular item since the increased defence also applies to tbelt stacks and synergises with the passive damage
@@sneezebazooka6068 i agree with this he's more suited as a tank exp rather than damage just by war axe and build your defense items. Lukas however heavily relies on his ult to last long in team fights
I personally think Benedetta should be in Mostly Solid tier, her great damage and rotation really makes it easy to teamfight and split push both. She's also a great setter with ult and petrify, the only flaw is if her petrify is on cooldown she just relies on skill 2 stun
Well she is pretty hard to use which makes her pretty inconsistent. She requires so much skill from players that it can be easy to spot a good Benedetta user and a bad one. A lot of EXP lane mains prioritize ease of use on their heroes so we don't have to stress out on learning complex combos and can focus on macro like map awareness, rotations, and good timing.
i subscribed. felt your guides and explantion were really good for gamers like me that are still learning (and even sometimes much better than the popular youtubers). thank you and hope your efforts get recognised
I knew something was wrong with Lukas' 2nd skill, it doesnt feel good using it and the number of times I bumped to a wall is embarassing Overall a solid list though #JusticeToHandsomeGuyBalmond
Thank you for this guides, it helps a lot learning like that. Even tho i'm surprised by some or even disagree, i can learn more how strong or weak and against which combination
Because he will always be trash in EXP lane. They should really just rework him as a pure Jungler instead of forcing him on EXP lane since his playstyle tends to lean more on Assassin than his primary role of Fighter. Hell they even gave him a passive for finishing off enemies.
IDK about categorically placing all tanks in "tank" and assuming they dont do enough damage. Like I play Carmilla, and there have been countless games where I saved the match by solo killing the enemy mm or mage. Regardless of if i'm roaming, exp, or jg, I do 20% of the teams damage as Carmilla on average. There are even instances where I can even kill 2 heroes by myself. Personally, I think Carmilla has a good balance or damage and utility. Fredrinn I also feel has enough damage. He is one of the tank jg and in my experience a good fred can do good damage. But can say much cause i dont really use him exp, same for the other tank exp. I guess it's just not really clear how the 'balance' between damage and utility is determined. What's the criteria for sufficient damage? Makes it seem like the tanks just got lumped into tank and assumed to do no damage
Zilong on usually bad is extremely justified and i will put an emphasis on "USUALLY". But sometimes, just once in a blue moon, you will meet that one zilong user that is just a freaking menace.
Reading live chat while watching this video really showed me how bad are 90% players of this game. Due to big amount of bots all those bad players still end up in low mythic or honor during the season and when I get these nabs in team it's already gg.
@@temuulenbaldorj1900 no yall always sleeping on or complaining about Argus being too weak when he has consistently been one of the best fighter regarding WR the past few seasons. @temuulenbaldorj1900 the New one is stronger. New one can just jump into a teamfight ( in which he 100% gets "killed" during his invincibility, which means he gains an overall of 8 damn seconds of immortality, which is a Ton lot for team fights ). During these 8 seconds he can dish out tons of dmg, as well as cc enemies as well as force enemies to use their cc skills on you because thats the only thing stopping Argus during his immortality, which however still isnt enough cause good luck stunning Argus for any time near 8 seconds. As I said he has one of the highest winrates for good reasons, the numbers dont lie.

Julian can easily bully exp laners once he reaches level 3, plus he also has alot of options when it comes to exp lane, so you're not just limited to assassin and mage emblem Aulus s1 makes him tanky and his s2 has built in life steal so he can still recover from creeps or minions Overall i think its an good tier list, its just that some exp laner is heavily dependant on its user, and that can impact how the hero will play out
Simply put, Julian likes to snowball so he performs better as a Jungler since he prefers to end games fast which EXP doesn't favor his play style because no one goes all in and just prefers short trades. Aulus meanwhile just can't keep up in the EXP lane. He lacks good trading ability like being Tanky or having a quick dash to do hit and run. Also his form of sustain is Lifesteal which is very weak early on.
