Just finished reading 'Evicted' and it completely changed the way I see eviction, housing rights, and those less fortunate. It is very easy to judge "those people," it is hard to put ourselves in their shoes. What are we doing to people? Our society can be better than that. America can be better than that!
No landlord wants the property empty. If you pay your rent/mortgage, you get to stay. The dubious decisions the evicted make that lead to eviction are suspiciously absent. STOP WITH THE TIRED RACISM ANGLE ALREADY, IT’S BEEN PLAYED OUT YOU BUMS......
