My steering box failed, which caused the traction control light to go crazy during left turns and created a large dead spot in the wheel. I have already replaced the entire front-end suspension, so this repair should be the final one! I can't wait for this nightmare to be over, lol.
Thank you very much for putting this video together. Your videos are usually very helpful. One question I have is now that it’s been a year. Do you feel like the gearbox was enough in for low range and your axles locked?
As long as it doesn't interfere with the inlet and the return, you should be fine. However, keep in mind that the engineers designed the [product] to be mounted in a specific orientation.
Hello, This video is i believe a little over 8 months old. I was just wondering, How is the PSC box holding up using the OEM steering pump and reservoir? My OEM box life is done and was thinking of getting the PSC.
Did you install just the steering box or did you also install the power steering pump? Been thinking of installing PSC box myself but don’t want to dish out the money for the upgraded steering pump yet.
What would you say the big bore box weighs (ball park) I just ordered one for my TJ. I'm assuming it won't be as heavy as yours but I'm planning on bringing it home to Taiwan on my flight in check-in baggage. 😂 13:54 Man that's a well maintained suspension system. Squeaky clean! I like your style.
@@4x2WagonFamily 🙏🏽 that’s good know , I be going that route wit the PSC as I now have 38”. Love the content you put together and thank you for sharing.
Appreciate your content!! Keep up the good work!
Good video.Thank you.

Bro, I can totally relate. Good luck!
What kind of differences have you felt in the steering if any. On and off-road differences?
Where did the O ring go that was attached to the steering box when it was packaged?

It’s does well if the air pressure is around 20 lbs. Anything below that it struggles when locked. I’m going to install ram later this year.
Hey, was wondering how was your steering without the ram? Thanks
Do you know of any reason the cooler couldn’t be mounted vertically as apposed to horizontally across the grill?

Great video

So far good. I haven’t notice cavitation in my fluid when I do check on the trail. Super stocked with my investment.

Only the steering box. Like you i didn’t want to shell out 500 extra for the pump. Honestly, you won’t need it:) cheers!
Buy any chance did you have a sector shaft brace on your OEM box?
No it did not .
I had similar issues. I put sector brace on my jk. Hopefully that’ll serve as a nice band aid for a while. You have a nice build.
Did you use recommended swepco fluid or an alternative? Great video , hoping to get rid of the extra play in the steering wheel as well.
No, I used ACDelco PsF. I think equally good.

25-30 lbs, thank you!
Do you need to buy a drop pitman arm?
Nope, it came with the correct pitman arm.
Is the stock steering pump strong enough for that? Thank you for sharing your build.
I’m still running stock pump with no issues so far. 🙏🏽

FYI, PSC recommends against using the stock pump, they say it's likely to wreck the pump.
I see you have a Metalcloak lift
Your old fluid looks cooked. You might want to improve the cooling for it.
