  • Enjoy a relaxing 75 minute frequent ferry ride across Northumberland Strait between the Canadian provinces of Prince Edward Island (PEI) and Nova Scotia (NS) aboard either Holiday Island or Confederation - two vessels owned by Government of Canada & operated by Northumberland Ferries (NFL) on seasonal basis. Ferry Terminals are located at Wood Islands, PE & Caribou, NS. Fares are charged only upon exiting PEI. Alternate option is 12 km long Confederation Bridge. Full video of drive over the bridge is also available on our channel. Please take moment to watch that video too. Crossing of Holiday Island & Confederation is a delightful sight. Awesome view from open Observation Deck at the top. Vehicles are parked on Roll On-Roll Off basis on lower levels. Plan a perfect overnight stay at nearby Northumberland Provincial Park on a campsite under the stars, in a RV or a cabin. Refreshments can be purchased onboard. Please don't hesitate to provide your valuable feedback.
