    Hope you guys liked the vid! We are no doubt living in some interesting times and that presents both challenges and opportunities... Btw, many of my followers have asked if I do any long form educational content (courses). Currently I do not but I have been toying with the idea. Would love to have 30 secs of your time if you could give me your feedback in this form 🙏🏻

      It will all crash really badly but not before continued manipulation in Gold, BTC/ETH, and stocks. The very very few have been setting up for a bull run as long as they could; there has been a lot of downplaying bitcoin since 2010, especially so since 2013 and 2016, distraction, obfuscation, propaganda, many words come to mind when I look at the big picture of wealth and control systems that are still almost as bad as they were in 2500 BC
      I expect there to be at least 2 big crashes and printings, with some dropoffs in the price of BTC followed by support retests, the same shit we keep seeing. Think about it, the whole stock market is an instrument of the banking scum and it behaves the way it does not because the products themselves are doing anything. PEOPLE are manipulated into BUYING THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE in almost all cases. Most stock market listings are because they need the money; all decade we have been seeing not growth, not recovery just more of the same.. charts that supposedly signal things, things happening, more signals. More of the high % lose money in trading, and bankers holding all the best positions all the time
      ua-cam.com/video/p5Ac7ap_MAY/v-deo.html going to watch this and hopefully its good enough to get more people to look into the oldest connections between power and money. Long story short Goldman and others steal from all of us, all the time and will be until everything is priced in BTC ; what are they doing ? they are saying they are long now, but they may not be long yet, they may be short. They already tried saying they were short when we all knew we should be long, and the price went UP. They got caught lying about this doing the same stuff before heaps of videos around. Of course there is a point where they might reverse psych. Beware. Uncertainty is INEVITABLE - no matter what, you cannot be certain because you cannot know the future choices of so many, but the point of the above is banks and other evil $#@#ers are becoming an increasingly strong force in the crypto markets, this might even be the biggest ALTSEASON motivator now that I think about it. In the end though there will be a trending towards things being priced in BTC as the decades go past

    The thing I so much appreciate about your channel, is that you don‘t sound so manic about crypto, economy, to-the-moon and bulls-race (like most of the crypto-guys on UA-cam). Great video, a couple of things left off the video. First, the fed announced that it can print an unlimited amount of money to help with the stimulus of the economy (within the confines that the treasury has set for a backstop) which is the first time ever in history. Also, similar to the housing crash, the fed will buy back toxic assets this time it's not only the banks that are getting this special treatment; for the first time in history, the fed will begin buying back toxic corporate assets. By law the government is not allowed to intervene in the market this way, that is why they will be funding a shell company that handles the refinancing of corporate debt. The idea is when the fed buys all of these toxic assets it would be a loan of sorts which corporations can payback post-COVID. Essentially kicking the can down the road.
    Warren Buffet, the fed chairman, and other investors have said plainly nobody knows what this means for the US in the future but it is necessary to preserve the economy and avoid a catastrophic crash. Given everything I've said it makes sense why the stock market is up right now, this stimulus is borderline illegal and is unprecedented. I had a short on the S&P & Real Estate, once learning about this; I immediately closed out my positions. It wasn't anything too crazy I lost about 10% from the short but for some time people noticed that the fundamentals were messed up had I gotten in late February, I would've made a lot of money. My portfolio is up about 13% right now which is pretty nuts considering everything going on If I didn't get out of the short it would have eroded at the recent gains. (Short was only an experiment, I'm a dividend position investor).
    I know it was a lot of information but for people to get a better perspective on what is going on, you have to include the debt/credit cycle as well. Even if businesses are not getting customers it doesn't mean they cannot get credit and at this point, the fed is willing to give anyone credit even low rated corporations (Yes companies have credit scores lol). As long as they keep printing money and pumping it into the economy the fed can balance out the dip in economic activity. At this point with the drop in economic activity and the contraction cycle of the economy which you talked about the dollar is facing massive deflation. Unless other countries remove the dollar peg which is pretty much impossible, there isn't going to be rapid inflation of the dollar anytime soon because it is a trust-based system. "America reserves the right to tax the wealthiest people on the planet" Bloomberg market concepts course hammered that in for me and for economists this pretty much means the US can write-off debt indefinitely as long as the payments are within the GDP. I'm bullish on Bitcoin even with the recent price manipulation. However, seasoned investors...do not speculate on the stock market! Dollar-cost averaging into the market at the highs and lows buying the dips and gains within fixed periods is the best way to play this. Additionally, It is smart to hedge your position, in other assets such as Bitcoin. It seems that banks are starting to realizing this as they are taking long positions in the chicago mercantile exchange for the first time ever since early May. JP Morgan is setting up banks for crypto exchanges and Goldman Sachs is holding conferences with investors discussing the market conditions and Bitcoins position in all of this.
    If this massive comment sparked some interest I would recommend you go and watch The Rich Dad Channel as Robert Kiyosaki talks about the dangers of printing money on there and Ray Dalio because he talks about the cycles of credit and the economy.

    PSA: we just had an example in March where the crypto market crashed alongside the stock market. Yes, it did recover more quickly, but i would issue a warning that it is a very uncertain time to enter crypto markets.
    Note 1: Do not invest if you do not have enough funds for at least 3-6 months of rental, food, utilities etc
    Note 2: Crypto Markets bounced 60% after the big drop. It is better to practice patience and wait for the bottom to enter.
    Note 3: If you must enter now, you would be better off taking a disciplined approach and just dollar averaging into the market, i.e. 10% of your investment budget at the same time every month. Do your research on how dollar averaging has outperformed buying the bottom.

    Just to give this video a bit of balance: I agree that buying bitcoin is probably quite a good idea (not financial advice - purely entertainment), but bitcoin sold off just like gold months ago.
    When the markets panic because of economic fear (or pain), the only safe haven is cash. No matter what the asset is, there will be people that need to sell their assets to get cash. That is why we see Gold sell off, silver sell off, bitcoin sell off. However, typically these assets recover quicker and sometimes turn on the turbo jets to the moon after the initial panic!
    Additionally, the risk with a cash position, is that it is crushed by inflation. My entertainment advice: diversify - cash, gold stocks all perform differently under different circumstances, and to get through unscathed in the short term, you don't know which one you will need yet. And you never will (but maybe the printers help a bit brrrr).
    One last nugget: gold and bitcoin should perform pretty similarly so don't worry too much about which. However, Bitcoin has just gone through a halving. If the cycle follows its historical pattern 'cetirus paribus' then bicoin could rise xxxx% in the next few years alone

    Great video I agree 97% The remaining 3% is about gold. Most of the crypto community don't understand why it's a huge risk not to hold precious metals (especially silver). Just like most of the gold bugs don't understand bitcoin. Compare the two is like making a debate if the hammer or the screwdriver is the better tool. :D

      I suspect a lot of it is an age thing and the comfort with technology. Older prefer holding something physical and also tend to have a lower risk appetite. I understand both and given more of the world wealth is older and that gold has been proven feel very bullish on gold. Crypto has great technology and will have many uses going forward with many excellent projects. However BTC is totally not proven and is way too volatile and easily manipulated. It has not shown itself to be a store of wealth and is useless as a form of currency because it is too volatile. At the moment it is only a speculative asset and it has mostly been following the stock market so it will quite likely drop when the stock market crashes. At under $5k I would consider buying BTC. Also if we get hyperinflation happening in the US I would consider it but atm it is a gamble and priced too high given current inflation. BTW I really like Crypto it's just that there are too many youtubers pumping the price trying to get their $$ by getting newbies to invest as the whole system requires new entrants to pay the current prices so that they can trade against that and sell out or if they bought in below$6k their wealth grows.

    Very sound macroeconomic argument Guy, congratulations. I agree and actually think the correction could be closer to July as we get 2Q earnings posted. For quite sometime it has felt as if we have been kicking imbalances and other economic problems down the road, with debt and debt monetization. I don't think that monetary policy has evolved simply because we need it to; money printing, like repressing a problem, will come back to bite us. Let's hope that it is not as hard as some pundits seem to think, and like you I wish Crypto is part of a long term solution. As always, congrats for the channel!

    Also anyone viewing this, don't forget the first wealth is your health. However strapped for cash you are there's usually some easy habits/homework you can get done to make yourself less vulnerable to health ailments in a time when medical attention is scarce.
    -Sleeping enough hours with consistent bedtime
    -Sunlight on your bare skin for vitamin D (and sleep regulation)
    -Whole nutrient-dense foods (vegan, paleo, carnivore, anything is better than Standard American Diet)
    -Some kind of routine exercise program
    -Magnesium, iodine, zinc, and selenium somewhere in your diet for immune/hormonal health
    There's oceans of health content out there and it's really daunting but it is a worthwhile thing to struggle and sort through in the end. Don't let your health be dependent on the culture around you.

They’ll drop again but not to the same extent. Just because people are laid off doesn’t necessarily affect stocks if the workers didn’t work for publicly traded companies. Although the government can not seize bitcoin, it could ban bitcoin, like a lot of countries have done. This could be devastating to price if the respected exchanges have to close and institutions can’t buy it. Why do you not see this as a problem, but seizing gold is?

    • @CoinBureau
      @CoinBureau  4 роки тому +1

      Hi Chris. Well, illegal substances are banned but there is still a massive market for it. Indeed, there are many that say that prices would be lower if it was legalized. A government can outlaw the sale of Bitcoin but if people still see value in it, there will be a market. Gold can be seized as the government can just go the vaults and take it. However, if they raid my house and I have all my crypto in a brain wallet - they can't get anything.

    • @chrisburgess2398
      @chrisburgess2398 4 роки тому

      Coin Bureau Thanks for getting back to me. I take your point that there will still be a market for it, but that market would be greatly reduced if it was illegal. It would be harder to buy and sell, and most respectable investors would stay well clear. Very different to drugs, which if legalised supply could increase to meet demand. I think to suggest that the price could be higher if it was illegal is a bit disingenuous.

    Great content - thanks very much.I believe that you are right. The stock market is not the economy, however all the big players and employers will for sure reduce a few people and if one cannot pay the mortgage any longer, consequently will have to go tramping with a tent. As a consequence the real estate market will crash and as you know with hyper inflation around the corner looming consumption will completely come to a stand still. So no manufacturing and no consumption will bring a halt to all cogs in the consumer economy. With no consumption the prizes for common goods will rise astronomically and here I have an issue with BTC. If BTC will rise to those massive value figures, because it is like Gold even more scarcer, well that is required, and truly expected of BTC, as a loaf of bred will cost 10k, a pound of butter another 15k and so on and if there is a TESCO's still in business a full trolley will be probably costing the normal household easily 250k, which will be the value of a BTC. I think as long we have an economy that promotes:"buy now - pay later" and the dept spiral has risen to an astronomical high mountain and bank CEO's from Sachs and JP Morgan [who are legalized gangsters] are still paid a annual bonus for being incompetent I feel nothing will change. There will be a lot of blood on streets before the gangsters will roll over and say "Hello BTC-of course we will have you as a new paradigm shift" . Crypto currency, block chain and defi are for sure here to stay, however, I do not believe that this is going to happen without a fight between the old FIAT currency hierarchy and the new naive hiphop Moon boys. The question is more how does one survives in such an emerging power struggle and where is the safe place to survive all this when the swords are starting to be crossed. I truly think we require to develop a plan B for the scenario when all this shi... is hitting the fan. I do love BTC and do not understand me wrong here...but what about all the people who have not a dime to invest now and will be left behind, all the developed world who just barely lives on one dollar. All I can say at the present, we live in interesting times and perhaps its time to learn a few survival techniques how to endure life in the wild jungle of humanity, where perhaps soon it will be more important how to find food an shelter and how to protect oneself from emerging new waves of viruses as you rightly remarked a vaccine in 18 month is probably one big lie!!

    Guy, if the stock market will experience another crash at the end of the year, is it not highly likely that crypto will follow suit as the two markets are closely correlated? Perhaps this would be seen as another healthy correction before ATH’s in 2021?

    • @CoinBureau

      Hi Harvey. I think that the recent crash of Bitcoin in March was mostly driven by Asian holders dumping and not really related to stocks tanking in the US. You only need look at how quickly it recovered post the dump. Institutional buyers were quick to scoop it up. Historical correlation prior to that dump was actually not that high.

    Question, supposing things crash as bad as predicted wouldn't that cause a lot of shortage for goods given the amount of production power that will be lost? Even if you get gorrillians of dollars in crypto, wouldn't the scarcity for things drive up the price assuming they're even available? I'm wondering if the target is just to be in a winning position or to have said position AND be able to hold it until things return to an equilibrium however long that may take.

      Yes. There will be a drop in manufacturing. That is for certain. Also, you have to remember that many countries are now looking for ways in which they can decouple from China. That will bring up costs and bring down output and the availability of cheap goods.

    Stock market is not the economy . The crash that we saw this year has actually factored into it all the damages that are foreseeable in the economy for the next 1-2 Years. There are many things indicating and many people claiming that there would be a second crash. But to be honest the crash has already happened and it was 40% and in some case 80 - 90 %. The sock market is a quick snapshot for a long term reflection of positive/negative events in the economy. So the picture has already been take and you can see it in the chats.
    For those looking at a strong stocks to buy in at the moment I would say it's pretty late because the train has come and gone.
    But you can still trade FB, Alphabet A, UBER, Boeing, AMZN, ADBE, MSFT these companies will always make money. They are simply cash cows.
    Bitcoin is actually losing to ALT-Coins and with many coins offering staking and stability I really see a tight future for Bitcoin. 2020 Year of staking.
    Here is a tip: keep a close watch on ADA the preparing to go live finally.

The number of pension funds that would become insolvent would create another bailout situation. Illinois is already on the brink with other states following close behind. I think the FED will do what they have said and echoed recently; "We will do whatever it takes." In the end it's going to crush future generations with debt and destroy the U.S. dollar. Your thoughts?

    • @CoinBureau
      @CoinBureau  4 роки тому

      Thanks Andrew. Glad you liked the video! Well, the FED will try to do what they can but remember that the Fed is only one side of the equation (Money supply). They can do what they want from a monetary angle but their tool kit for actually expanding company earnings is limited. Usually that is where fiscal stimulus comes in. The only problem with that is that even with these measures, you still cannot force people to spend on goods / services if they are worried about Covid. So the only thing that I am worried about is even if they do release their bazookas on the markets, what happens if it does not really have the desired impact?

    I think that we must look at the "basic services" stocks, like energy and water. Since even at this pandemic scenario, companies, productive industries and people need those.
    Probably, banks' stocks are a good thing to look at too.. why is that?, because it's hard for a well consolidated bank to fall in bankrupcy. Probably that's one of the economy pillars that the governments need to keep going.
    The unemployment factor is powerful on the retailer crypto buyer, but the institutional crypto investment is (IMHO) what could lead to a next bullrun in cryptocurrencies. Even so, probably bitcoin price will go down for a while before the bullrun starts, because for a bullrun to happen we need money flowing into the crypto market. Nowadays the priority seems to be preventing an economic crash.

    Hi everyone Thankas Mr for another cool video with very good content. BTW I like your German sense of humour LOL... However, being serious I believe as you said there is still a huge number of ppl that they do not see the reality and its future results. The financial stimulation (loans to business) across EU or USA, hoping it will somehow fix the problem it is more a small fix to flat the curve of future economic crises. Looks like big corporations slowly getting back to actions and drowning a plans (cuts, how to save and survive) in the next years, that will be definitely a big impact on the market. Is it not better to wait till Bitcoins, ETH or XTZ will go down with the price well below what is now?

    Hello Guy,
    I love your presentations. Extremely educational!
    I will have to contest this particular one. If the situation is so particularly bad then Bitcoins and Cryptos may not be the sought after safe haven. Bitcoin seems to have correlated with broader markets and shown little signs of independent -resilience. It seems to me that we have created two worlds - the haves and the have nots with an ever widening gap. I feel a shift to focus on fundamentals - food, health and climate will become critical.
    Do not get me wrong. Please! I am a huge believer of trust-less, permission-less and decentralized assets. So smart-contracts will definitely come. Eventually! It is just that they are not a safe haven for otherwise troubled investments. At least not now.
    Nothing is absolute. The truth exists in a spectrum. In this particular case, I feel the flight of capitals to cryptos will get a Covid boost. Although it will be tiny. Say 3%?
    Cheers to a happy and healthy future!
    Best regards and best wishes, Somnath
