BASC have thrown shooters under the bus with a “voluntary” lead ban, they were pathetic when we had further legislation pushed apon us with the “offensive weapons act” and now they don’t even offer legal cover…there’s literally no reason to join basc when there’s other orgs out there not chucking us under the bus.

Perhaps it’s worth supporting our society’s with the intention of maintaining our niche past time that is shooting and conservation, weather or not u support their policy’s is almost by the by, it’s more about supporting the few for a common cause of keeping the land we love for our entire lifestyle and future of our children
I don’t know what we would do with BASC. They may not get the result that suits us 100% all the time but that’s politics. That aside who else could represent us in parliament and in the media if we didn’t have BASC. To me if your involved in any of said activities it’s madness not to support BASC and just because they didn’t help your mate who lost his licence or our government decides to ban grouse shooting, can’t all be blamed on BASC. Definitely join Alex 👍
Hi Alex...to answer your question yes access to the game fair has been free the last few years via basc but don't be to hasty regarding basc as ther are other similar organisations out there ie. NGO , BDS and others 👍
Ffs don’t tell me that 😂 what’s your thoughts on them all? At least I learned what this one is all about. I guess they are all on the same side.
@@HunterGathererCooking Sorry mate ......I was a basc member for 40 year's and due to spiralling membership costs and feeling that they have lost there way a little I chose to join the NGO ......I certainly have no regrets !!

I would encourage all shooters , ferreters, etc etc to support all our societies, we need to stick together regardless of opinions regarding practices , fees and opportunities to promote our past time
