Just an idea...on the opposite side I would add an O on the X's and X on the O's. Just in case someone wanted to start with O's. Great project!
I think you did a great job recreating the more expensive version. Plus, it’s be more kid friendly. Love the colors you chose! Tic tac toe reminds me of when I was young.

I don't have the dice but I do have a bag of wood slices. I'm wondering how that would look for porch decor??🤔

Great job that looks so good ❤
Very cool 👍🏻
Does the paint come out easily? This is going to be used by teens so I want to make something that last and not peel off. Thanks for the great and cute projects you post.
I have not noticed paint chipping off when we play with ours. However, you could put a quick topcoat over the paint, like Mod Podge, and that would definitely prevent any chipping.
@@CreativeontheCheap Thanks!
I love this project. Do you sell them? If so would you mind sharing pricing? Thanks. 😊
Thank you! I do not sell them, but if I did, I would sell them for between $20-$25.

Hey there LOVE THIS !!! I can’t wait to get to DT tomorrow ❤️ on to more of your videos 😁
Very cute. tfs
I LOVE this. There's so many things you've made that I want to do but we have the world's worst DT . I found another one not too far away today and I loaded up!!! I'm not coming out of my craft room for the next month. Haha
me k Yay! The Dollar Tree near me isn’t very good either. However, I am lucky. I have 4 Dollar Trees within 15 miles of me, so sometimes I do go hunting! 😆
Working on this project now I'm at the point of stenciling my x's and o's with size stencil did you use?
They are 2” stencils, but actually measure just a tad less than that.
Love it I was thinking of making that with babyblocks but I like this one also TFS XO X O
👏👏 fantastic
Great dupe!!!New supporter from challenge, I enjoyed participating in this challenge, tfs
mrs vee Thank you!
Very cute I like yours better than Pier one
If you wanted to make it smaller and cheeper you could use the blocks they have ing the school section at dollar tree they are i think Counting blocks. Momma from scratch I think that's how you say her name Emily she use them for a DIY for Valentine's Day like Scrabble pieces. Just a thought i think im going to try it ty for this DIY...
Julie Bond That was my original thought too, but my DT hasn’t had those blocks in over a year. So I moved up to the next size. Mine is mostly a decor piece sitting next to a really large wooden dice, so bigger was better for me. A small one would be good for travel too!
Yahtzee I would love I u can show me how to make it
I’m having a horrible time getting the paper off the art. Any tips? Did you just use sandpaper to sand it or a sander?
Leslie Branam I sanded it with my sander and it came off, BUT it makes a huge mess!
What size are the stencils
Shannon Rollins 2 inch
What about contact paper!!
Love this project! Just curious- Can you tell me about the first product you used- the wax paint? What is it and how is it different from regular paints?
Nadine Frandsen Creme wax is basically for antiquing. It isn’t very pigmented and is mostly used over painted projects to give a distressed, antiqued look. It has the consistency of paint versus other antiquing waxes that you apply in small amounts and then buff off. I’ve also used it to give wood a light tint of color. 😊
What size is the wall art?
It is the 9x9.
❤️
Did this paint crack after awhile? Would you suggest sealing it at all? I really want to try this
It has not cracked yet, but it does not get heavy use. I would recommend sealing it with modpodge or some type of sealer if it will be used often.
❤️🙌🏼❤️🙌🏼
Jenga pieces didn’t work
Key piece of information I did not mention on video🤦🏼♀️. You will need to cut the 4 corner blocks as well and glue your sides together. Without cutting them, you cant get up 2 vertical rows and one horizontal row added. I made a post on my FB group with a picture of that helps. 😊
👍💕👍
I love it!!
