Congratulations 🥳👏👍 on your new van and can't wait to see the full project finished and you started with a trike and trailer and now you have transferred to a van but still have a trike to cycle I think it's a new chapter for jayoe nation with a van I can't wait to see what happens in the future
Van looks really nice, definitely an adventurer tech persons van. Look forward to seeing you on the road. 👍 Would have loved to see you building as you went along as you made progress
Got to be the best van setup ever Matt cant wait till you put the full editing gear in and servers dont forget to reach out to that company i mention before
Fantastic job, Matt. You thought of everything and beautifully done. It is always good to have a handy fire extinguisher too. As for the speaker grill being loose, yes, a little silicone will work. If you have more time and the patience, you can try experimenting using small little super magnets. Cheers.
Hey Matt I did a little research for you the company that makes the spray foam is made by 3M this will help not eating through the insulation for your wires
@@JaYoeNation just thought of something we use around low voltage wires. There is a product called heat shrink and also one that’s called cold shrink . You can get them is sizes up to 2” . What you do is pull the wires through either one and if it’s heat shrink you heat it up and it protects the wires . Cold shrink has a plastic cord and all you do is pull it . The great part about either one is if something goes wrong you just cut it off and pull the wire right back through and then when you’re done just get another cold/ heat and do the same thing . I think this method will save you some money and you can use what ever foam you want to . Both are pretty easy to use .
I have the same ones. The draws hop when you hit a bump with under mounts and if they fly open just once it’s a nightmare they’re ruined and now because your draws are wider you can’t switch. Like I said good luck. I learned the hard way.
So that’s what you’ve been up to, thought you were taking your time, and that maybe you’d got yourself a day job. Anyways the studio campervan looks great Matt, you’ve certainly put some thought into it, and professional looking from what you’ve shown so far. But just a couple of things, I’m assuming you’re going to have upholstered removable cushions which sit on top of those slats, so don’t see a problem with paint splatter on cover slats. But and this applies to both sides of van where you’ve got electrical/electronic equipment, where’s the ventilation coming from as a lot of electronic equipment have over temperature cutouts to protect them, also where’s your static ventilation to reduce chances of mildew forming if left stood in winter to stop mildew mould. Looking at your colour scheme in general wondered why you didn’t spray yours trimmings and slats silky black instead of going for that wood effect. Still hoping sooner than later get you back to greeting and meeting people on your travels, especially in this important Presidential Election year, Ohio’s caucus has just given Trump a huge endorsement, don’t miss out on giving those of us not in USA what state voters really think instead of usual MSM biased spin. Ciao🤔
true about the splatter... i was thinking of making a cushion conform to each slatted cover and bing to it with straps inside the vent holes... so if i do that you would basically never see them. Vents are cut throughout the sides of all the cabinets... and i will have some 12v DC fans pulling air across everything. Not sure about mildew buildup... we will just have to see where that bridge forms and cross it later. I liked the lighter colors.. and i had so much dark.. didnt want it all dark.
Wow just wow…..I mean you must have a HUUUUGE bank account because you just bought a house man and on top of that you are tricking this van out to the limits and you have already sunk a ton of cash into this project already and are not even done, and you just got a new trike witch probably came in over 10k after all the bells and whistles were added on…..it’s crazy to watch the life of you it’s crazy cool wish it was me lol
well... the trike was part of a sponsorship... and i used a lot of the expansive components from my last trike, like the rholloff... and the house... well that was a big purchase... and the van was bought with inheritance. its a bit overwhelming that i have spent so much on these things though... your are right.. cant wait to get using them.
@@JaYoeNation that’s awesome man, and we can’t wait to see you start really using them to, im sooooo ready for your South America tour I know it’s going to be crazy AWSOME and I hope you explore some of Canada to once you get done in South America and central. It would be nice to see a trike ride along the west coast from like Washington all the way to Alaska or something like that.
well... how does it look? what an incredible road it has been.
Come help me do those lights in my hubby's shed.
Your dad would be so proud to see this.

Beautiful job. I hope you have better luck than me with the undermount draw glides.
man... you should see mine!.. so happy with them!

@@michaelscarfi3196 what type of latches do you have? You’re saying if they open forcefully and slam open it can ruin them?
@@michaelscarfi3196 my latches keep them pretty solidly secure.
You’ll be fine as long as you don’t forget to latch them.
looks awsome ! would concider more protection under van against moisture and vibrations, it's not going rong tomorrow but think 5 years ahead
under the van? like undercoat? the whole interior is pretty soundproofed..
the electric there is shrink wrap for it, and you want nothing bouncing with the heating and feul

@@JaYoeNation Thanks for reply Matt, you’re doing a fantastic job, can’t wait to see it finished and campervan and trike adventures start. Caio👍🤔
Matt did you think about getting a blending cocking to put around those speakers that keep falling off?
i didnt yet... thats part of my finishing work.
Matt, ass an old car, audio fanatic my advice is you can use a little bit of silicone to hold the speaker grills on.
Silicone. Ok. I’ll give it a try
Try goo gone spray on your paint splatters (orange oil). Works well and not harsh.
Amazing, but where the bed if you & your family going to sleep?
the back couch converts into... well... basically an enormous bed.
Nice updates. Wondering if you have ever dealt with iVisa.
iVisa? whats that? a visa service?
@@JaYoeNation third party outfit I've been reading about. I hear they are garbage just wondering if you had experience. I suppose not.
Brillant how much you think it cost to ship the van to Europe so you can tour their and to Africa
haha.. i dont want to think about that just yet.
What camera do you Vlog with these days?
still use the Canon G7X mark 3
