That's true with a lot of these characters if everyone wasn't caught up in their own drama or self-interest a lot of tragedy could have been avoided. Sure some may have had good intentions but what's done is done what matters is how does one do better to avoid the mistakes of the past.
I still don't think it would have ended any diffrent, their methods were to diffrent maybe if Vander could temper Silcos aggression. The guys were if they could have worked it out been the founding fathers of a nation. Look at history and ALOT of revolutionary figures are viewed by some group or another as either a hero or tyrant.
I love the cool detail of Silco's mining jacket in this scene. I realized his coat in Season 1 was almost inspired by that mining jacket. The red on the inside, the grey on the outside, and the metal clasp buttons. I loved that.
I'm guessing Silco started the riot that caused the death of Vi & Powder's mom. That's why Vander was drowning Silco but he escaped. This was Vander later trying to apologize.
My guess for a while has been that Vander went to Silko with the deal the sheriff offered him. Silko wouldn't go along with it, and threatened to expose it, so Vander, desperate to prevent more bloodshed, attacked him.

I saw parallels between Vander and Silco with Vi and Jinx. For years jinx thought vi abandoned her, if violet hadn’t been taken away, they could have been raised together by Silco… idk if that would have been a good thing or not, but at least they would have been close.

What i love about Arcane is that they show us that, truly none of these events were inevitable. ALL OF IT all the tragedy could have been avoided had one small thing gone different. Which hurts even more, all the circumstances combined brought possibly the worst timeline. Had silco gotten that letter he and vander would have maybe probably reconciled, he'd have met powder without her being broken by all the trauma this feud caused her and the death of her family. They'd maybe have worked together. Silco wouldn't have started a chain of events that led to vander's death, mylo and claggor would be alive and vander wouldn't be a frankenstein werewolf. The heist would probably have still happened but with silco on their side they'd have found a way out of this. Arcane goes to great lengths to show us we're practically in the bad timeline. But it also does one other thing, it shows us one small decision could have changed the past. Meaning that one small decision now can still change the future for the better.

They made a protest at the bridge. things got heated and Silco threw a molotov to the enforcers initiating a violent riot that ended up with the girls parents dead. Vander blame it all on Silco and tried to drown him.
****Spoiler Theory about ACT 3 I think there's hints in ACT 2 that Silco is infatuated with Felicia. I have a theory that Silco and Felicia had an affair and Jinx is really Silco's child. There's a few reasons for this: Jinx's hair style was already done with braids similar to Silco's prior to her meeting Silco. Secondly, I think Vander and Silco failed to save Felicia from the attack on the Bridge. However, that event at Blisters and Bedrock showed that Silco was intently listening to Felicia's dreams and wishes. When Felicia died, there was a divide. Sillco wanted to stay true to her memory, and carry out her wishes because he loved her. Vander was horrified of the death and destruction and wanted to compromise so no more loved ones died. Their arcs are identical to Jinx's and Vi's. I think ACT 3, is Jinx fully embodying Silco's Arc because Isha also wanted Jinx to be an idol for hope.
