    Yet another one of your cool projects nears completion. I've been watching your videos for quite some time now, and I have enjoyed every one of them. I think the first series I saw was the little cast iron Briggs that you converted into a hit-or-miss engine. I see a couple of really decent folks that like to tinker with old iron, and are kind enough to share the projects with us. That's it. No arrogance, no axe to grind, no idiotic stunts with the purpose of "going viral" or gathering "likes". Honestly, it's refreshing. If I ever find myself in your neck of the woods at one of the engine shows, or something, first round is on me. I look forward to your next video!

    Even on propane, I think the clear head might get fogged up after a while with even slight amounts of oil getting past the rings and combustion residue. I was going to suggest a clean out plug of some kind to reach around in there with long pipe cleaners or something like a large diameter pipe cleaner that you can bend on angles and reach around in the combustion chamber with some alcohol or whatever to clean it up. This might save some stress on the head if you can avoid constantly unbolting it and re-torquing it all the time to clean it which could crack it. You could even rinse the combustion chamber out with alcohol through the clean out plug. Nice work!! Love the updates, man. Keep 'em coming!

    Great project and beautifully executed, just one small point, the wires might look better cotton covered, might look a bit more old school. (You can get fiberglass braid sleeving that would look vintage too. Great presentation, I can imagine a lot of children and adults enjoying watching this at shows, the combustion colour varies around the chamber which is an extra bonus. Well done!

    I'm confused. you have a pliable fuel hose from the tank supply to the regulator. then hard piping from regulator to the engine. isn't the vibration going to cause trouble somewhere in the hard piping connections???

    • @BixbyConsequence
      @BixbyConsequence 7 років тому

    I am curious when you switch from petrol to propane on any combustion engine does that cause any lubrication issues? my father used to drive propane vehicles all the time and he always said the cylinders would wear down quicker with propane because it didn't have quiet the lubrication of petrol.
