I get the game doesnt scale off op traits so they dont need to give out alot of rerolls like als for example but holy shit do they give out so little,its so little to the point where if i wasted 3 months of my life saving up to 50 rrs while being completely f2p means NOTHING, it does nothing, theres no pity so i can either make an ass pull or get lucky somehow and it sucks, it feels like i cant do anything without relying on alts or other people to carry me in matches. i cant even beat this new holiday event when im LEVEL 225! Last year when AA went down i was just starting in the game, now its time to try again and see what i can get. I am really happy that the game is back, however i feel like the game is missing some qol stuff, especially a unit manager (since you kinda have to play with other people on the new event if you are weak).

Super conflicted about it all… I play anime TD games cuz some of my favorite characters get added and I love to use them in game cuz one they’re dope but two they also look like them; when my Escanor turns into Hubris who looks like my neighbor it rlly discourages me to play + I play updates cuz it could be a show I love (One Piece) but now if they add gear 5 ever it won’t even be gear 5 which is my biggest problem, not to mention all of the missing QOL - the models is the LARGEST portion why I quit Defenders so I don’t know where to go, lmk ur thoughts and if yall agree or any thoughts 🙌
Unfortunately the game is complete garbage, it runs purely on nostalgia and the gameplay is so ancient it makes ALS and AV look better in comparison. I will continue to play because I refuse to hate on something I have 0 experience in but the game is incredibly unrewarding, the story is needlessly difficult and the game is severely P2W with no regards for F2P players. The devs being silent in the mass complaints and problems is just the cherry on top. Overall the game should've been delayed to at least Jan or Feb next year because so many other TD games do what AA does better, I'm just hoping for more updates that will make the game feel better to play as a newbie and more QOL

So honestly AA getting dmca was the best thing that could have happened for me. Because right after I stopped playing after bout a month I found a game called anime world tower defense and yea it looked worse but oddly enough I liked it more it was easy , more free to play , progression was fun , and the devs actually tried and put effort into their work etc. And with confidence I can say the copies are actually be better. Anime world tower defense game that had released along side AA is better in every aspect.
