Like I said before, JSU been kicking ass this season, but SU put a stop to it today. SU wanted ALL the smoke. They TOTALLY dominated from beginning to end.
From an unbiased opinion JSU took this ZERO QTR. Both bands play excellent in their respective right, SU is still the same SU and JSU has very much improved from all angles. SU was definitely louder but during the Tuba breaks the tubas themselves having issues with timing playing together JSU on the other hand gave more from an arrangement standpoint especially dynamically and the the tubas held it together and never out of pocket. Ill have to see the fifth QTR to see how they really do but for now THE W GOES TO JSU IN THE ZERO!!!
Unbiased opinion: state took this zero.... its not about somebody being louder it's about overall band sound and even if jsu was louder it would still be about sound quality...while southern was louder and had their moments... jsu came out of this one with a slight edge due to cleanness and arrangements
