Thank you for sharing that information to us . I will go to turkey soon and you have a very good advice. Change currency at Grand Bazar. One question they have commissions or not?
They dont take commission. You get the money written on the board.
@@BurakUnal1 thank you brother. If you have any advice please give to me. I will be in Istanbul in 3 days .
@@afriquetvplus3312 you can watch my videos for advice
Thank you for your helpful videos. I have a question please, can ATMs where it’s written on them “USD “ be used to deposit and withdraw USD?
I can withdraw with my Turkish bank card, however i am not sure about foreigner cards.
This is very good information; you don't want to make restaurant staff feel like stock exchange masters!
Thanks for watching it - i hope it will be helpful!
Thanks for the advice!
Thank you for your video. I will visit Istanbul next weekend. I have to pay taxi from airport to Sultanhamet. Whats your opinion? To change some money on airport? Or pay in euros? Uber or yellow taxi?
Thank you 😊
Change small money at airport, such as 50usd. Change the big money in city center.

Biblos Doviz
Hello sir, thanks for the info. Quien question tho, do you recommend bringing big bills like $100 or smaller bills like $20? Thanks in advance.
In Turkey, there isn't currency exhcange difference for big bills or small bills. Just bring clean bills :)
Thanks for the information. Do we need to carry passport for exchanging money? In some countries we need to present the passport, that's why I'm asking
In Turkey, they are not asking it. Still, it is better to have your passport just in case they ask for it.
Hi, can I also exchange smaller denomination European Cent coins like 5, 10, 20 and 50 cents for Liras?
You can, but the rate wont be good
thanks for the information brother, i have a question, if i want to change money in ankara do u have any good shops in mind ?
Check currency exchange office in kizilay and ulus
What's the name of that currency exchange store in Grand Bazaar? Thanks
There are many currency stores in that part of the map. I can recommend Nadir Doviz, it is the biggest one in my knowledge. There is also Marmara Döviz, which is also quite good in my experience.
Hi Burak, May I know is Singapore dollar accepted in Türkiye money changer?

Can Indonesian Rupiah (IDR) be exchanged there?
There might be exchange shops for IDR, but the rate wont be good since it is not a popular currency in turkey. I recommend coming to turkey with USD or EUR.
Hello! Is It possible to exchange unique currencies at the Grand Baazar? Turkmenistan manati for example?
You might find it there but the rate wonr be favorable for unique currencies
@@BurakUnal1 I messaged u on Instagram.
can you use a debit card from the USA in exchange
They might take huge commission. Cash-to-Cash exhange is the best!
@@BurakUnal1 good to know thanks man!
with new regulations is there still going to be no commission for example if I go with $1000 will I get 26712.00 turkish lira? thanks for the help!@@BurakUnal1
bro where I the best place to exchange money at SAW airport?
There are plenty of currency exchange offices and banks. You can choose any of them. However, I wouldn't change all my money at the airport, because rates are not good. I would just change $100 at airport and I would change the rest of my money in Istanbul City Center.
Thank you @@BurakUnal1
Does it convert Tether to dollars? How much fee? Do you want authentication?
There are bitcoin exchange offices that give that service. You can find them on google maps. I don't know their terms and conditions.
why not just use an ATM?...…..
Commission is high in ATM :)
with new regulations is there still going to be no commission for example if I go with $1000 will I get 26712.00 turkish lira? thanks for the help! @BurakUnal1 sorry for double post but ill be going soon
It depends on the exchange office. In Istanbul, I havent seen an office that asks for commission. You just get what you see on the board when you sell USD and buy TL
@@BurakUnal1 okay thanks for the info my man can’t wait to see the country! Nervous tho haha
@@BurakUnal1 is it smart to exchange all money at once or multiple small increments because the don’t seem very private
