  • Today me and Angelo are in Mellieha and we are going to explore a Settlement of Caves in the Ingraw area. Many of these caves are man made and looks some of them were even used for animals. Some are very simple while others have different rooms and dividing walls . With shelves carved in rock.
Hope you like and subscribe .
    Thanks for watching .

Hi Pierre. Thanks for this interesting vlog 🚶🚶⛑ 🌿 ☀ 🎥. My dad (RIP) was from Mellieha and he always called that area "L-Gherien tal - Mellieha". As Stephen Byrne commented, I remember people living there going back about 50 yrs ago. In later years they were used to keep farm animals mostly goats/sheep and few cows 🐐 🐑 🐮. THANKS Pierre & Angelo 👏 👏. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ©.

Bravi !

My wife and I visited these same caves in May 2000, and looking at your videos, they have not changed, or been disturbed, since then??

@@PierreFarrugia Yes, something that has been left alone thankfully! My wife had parents from Malta, thus the visit, her Mum was from Paola, and Father was Gozo, both deceased now. We reside in Australia, and wish to visit again, but health issues and our ages, are making that more unlikely?
