It's also entirely possible that Aemond just admitted it when he got back to the castle. Since they had such a contentious meeting just before Lucerys left. And since there's no way people in Storm's End didn't notice Aemond flying away immediately after Lucerys did, his disappearance wouldn't have been hard to figure out. Everyone in Storm's End would suspect he killed him in a dragon fight anyway, and that's exactly what happened. So Aemond probably just owned up to it.
When this dropped they were saying Otto’s The Hand, and Alicent’s The Foot 😂 Recognizing Aemond from that other show was crazy! You two are extra adorable, and fun to watch with each other. The reaction wasn’t boring at all.

Except for her crowning scene, where it is lightly wavy, indicating the strife she's just been through with losing her baby. But also allows for the shot of the back of her head towards the kneeling, where she really resembles her father Viserys, and his more wavy hair in the crown.

Vermithor is the name of the dragon Deamon sang to in the cave, his grandfather was its first and last rider. Deamon singing to the dragon was a routine the late King Jaehaerys did with the dragon before riding him. Deamon is getting the dragon ready for a possible new rider.
Daemon was in the cave with the dragon Vermithor, last ridden by his grandfather, Jaeharys(you saw him in episode 1 name viserys as heir instead of rheanys). He was singing a dragon song that his grandfather taught him when he was a boy, so he took a chance that vermithor wouldn't kill him assuming his grandfather sang the song to his dragon. Daemon won't be riding vermithor, but I won't spoil who does!

I absolutely love episode 8, especially how the director (if I recall correctly) said Viserys is walking towards Rhaenyra not the throne. Also a nice detail is that in the dinner the rotten part of Viserys face is next to the Hightowers while the other half is where Rhaenyra and Daemon are. The dragon in the cave is Vermithor - the dragon of the old king (before Viserys), who we briefly saw in the first scene of episode 1. Daemon can't claim another dragon, but he might be able to help someone else claim one.
The unclaimed dragon Daemon is singing to is Vermithor. He was the dragon ridden by king Jaehaerys. The king you saw crown Viserys over Rhaenys at the beginning of the season, who is Rhaenyras great grandfather. Vermithor was the second biggest dragon after Vhagar in existence at the time. Him and his mate silverwing are believed to be the ones producing so many of the eggs.

I don't think Rhaenyra asked for Aemond to be tortured, that's not what the showrunners were going for there. If she had, it would have prompted a response from Alicent and Viserys.
I'm with Rhaenyra right from the very beginning in ep1. Hundreds of lords have already sworn oath and pledged loyalty to her, and Viserys never changed his mind. So why there are people still supporting the Greens?

Actually she didn't mean torture. Alicent reacted the way she did because she herself was one of the main perpetrators, if not the main one period, who would discuss it with everyone except the king. So she knew that either she would end up getting the punishment the king decreed in the matter, those she cares/cared for would get the punishment or both.
Isn't "sharply question" a euphemism, in the court/among the royalty and high nobility of Westeros, for torture? Rhaenyra was advocating the torture, or at least very rough treatment, of her own half-brother, a child. (no excuse for Alicent to go postal, but I could see why she was set off, particularly since Viserys, her husband and Aemond's father, did not tell Rhaenyra that Aemond had been tortured enough and any questioning could wait until he felt better, in fact Viserys is barely concerned with Aemond's state, doesn't try to comfort him, just yells at the boy)

EP10 R.I.P to my sweet Lucerys❤🖤, was my favourite from the start with both actors. He got so nervous in situations and always got comforted by Rhaenyra by holding his hand lovingly. My queen Rhaenyra proves once again just how strong she is and how she's actually better than Aegon & Dany, by not wanting the throne over keeping the realm united or peace & keeping her promise to her father. She's lost so much this episode. Felt so bad for poor baby Arrax too, who's just as young & scared as Luke since Arrax was born to him. Aemond was such a stupid fool treating Vhagar like a car, what did he expect to happen. Poor Arrax doesn't know Aemonds just taunting them. 21:01 It's fascinating that Viserys's worst face is on the side of the greens, Alicent, Otto and his other children and Viserys's best face is on the side of his daughter Rhaenyra and her brother Daemon and his grandchildren.
I think it's the face that the family members have seen. He has favored Rhaenyra over his other children and forgiven Daemon countless times. He sees them as his true family. The others feel his neglect and his "ugly" side. They are just duty and there in case something happened with Rhaenyra. They are expendable and he doesn't seem to care much for them.

Haelena said "there is a beast beneath the boards", meaning Rhaenys and her dragon Melys (this hints to Haelena being a dreamer, meaning that she can see the future. And Viserys always wanted Rhaenyra to become Queen, he even thought he was talking to her in the end.
Keep in mind that Viserys once to Alicent that he had a probably prophetic dream about his son on the throne. Regardless, the small council had plans in place.

The reason daemon was singing that luluby is because jahaerys used to sing it to vermithor as well as his grandkids and vermithor ate anyone who tried to claim him after the king died so he recognized daemon by him singing the lullaby and not eating him Another fun fact: it’s rumored that dany’s 3 dragons are the sons of vermithor and dreamfyre since in this time 3 dragon eggs went missing and drogon,viserion and rhaegal all look like dreamfyre and vermithor
If you think about it, I get why Aegon turned out the way he did. Since the beginning we see his Father not caring at all about him or Aemond honestly. They only had Allicent who was paranoid most times and stressing out about keeping them safe.

EP8 I love how happy Daemyra was, wish we saw those 6 years they had. Also, love how Vaemond proved my queen Rhaenyra correct. He was just out for his own ambition since Rhaenys solved his issue by agreeing to Rhaenyra's proposal. That bethrothal ensures Driftmark stays in the Velaryons bloodline and name with the grandkids as it should be. Rhaenyra's boys and parenting put Allicent & hers to shame. Luke & Jace are decent respect boys who adore they mother and would never dream of forcing themselves on innocent women/girls. Rhaenyra also is so genuine, she offers a 2ND olive branch to Allicent, just like in ep 6. The dance of the dragons could have been avoided if Allicent had just got out of her way and not poisioned her sons heads. I like your energy and how perceptive you are! I'm more neutral, I have characters I like from both sides. I'm not currently in any subs, but I think one problem is that people get very personal. Like if you like one side or a certain character, you as a whole are a misogynist ect. Some of team black is quiet something and I started to avoid the black sub altogether. Basically if someone likes any of the greens they are terrible people to them. You can't even be neutral like me. You just get nuked by some very unhinged fans of team black. I have been told I can't be neutral, because neutral means I h@t3 all women, don't want women to have rights and think women are inferior to men. I also don't like Daemon and got attacked for it. I just left the team black sub and don't go into their spaces. It's the most toxic fandom I have ever seen and I still remember Supernatural. Then team green faught back and now it's a toxic mess between the two. From the team black side I like Corlys, Jace, Rhaena, Laenor and after episode 10 Rhaenyra, before episode 10 Rhaenys. In show canon I also think Rhaenyra would be much better than Aegon as a ruler. From the green side I like Helaena, Daeron ( hopefully appears in season 2 ), show! Aemond, Alicent, Tyland. So I'm staying neutral and don't choose a side. In the end this is a dysfuncional family and a family conflict about inheritance. Just that they are royals and have dragons. So their conflict will end in tragedy for them and almost the whole continent. I like to think of it that way, than one team vs the other team.

The dragon in the cave is Vermithor - the dragon of the old king (before Viserys), who we briefly saw in the first scene of episode 1. Daemon can't claim another dragon, but he might be able to help someone else claim one.
The unclaimed dragon Daemon is singing to is Vermithor. He was the dragon ridden by king Jaehaerys. The king you saw crown Viserys over Rhaenys at the beginning of the season, who is Rhaenyras great grandfather. Vermithor was the second biggest dragon after Vhagar in existence at the time. Him and his mate silverwing are believed to be the ones producing so many of the eggs.
I think they only produced Sunfyre's egg as the dragon was born in Dragonstone. But the others are likely Dreamfyre's children.

I don't think Rhaenyra asked for Aemond to be tortured, that's not what the showrunners were going for there. If she had, it would have prompted a response from Alicent and Viserys.
Aemond is a badass. I did not see the other show but no way based on the pictures is that character beating Aemond.
I'm with Rhaenyra right from the very beginning in ep1. Hundreds of lords have already sworn oath and pledged loyalty to her, and Viserys never changed his mind. So why there are people still supporting the Greens?
Maybe because Viserys is dead, so his opinion doesn't matter. And Rhaenyra put bastards in the royal succession.
Keep in mind, Targaryens aren't just handed the crown. It must be taken. That's why Dany not Viserys made it to Westeros. How do you think Maegor got his crown? Or Jahaerys?

There is no point in a royal line, or even caring about bastards on the throne tbh, if having the power to take the throne is all that matters.

Actually she didn't mean torture. Alicent reacted the way she did because she herself was one of the main perpetrators, if not the main one period, who would discuss it with everyone except the king. So she knew that either she would end up getting the punishment the king decreed in the matter, those she cares/cared for would get the punishment or both.
Isn't "sharply question" a euphemism, in the court/among the royalty and high nobility of Westeros, for torture? Rhaenyra was advocating the torture, or at least very rough treatment, of her own half-brother, a child. (no excuse for Alicent to go postal, but I could see why she was set off, particularly since Viserys, her husband and Aemond's father, did not tell Rhaenyra that Aemond had been tortured enough and any questioning could wait until he felt better, in fact Viserys is barely concerned with Aemond's state, doesn't try to comfort him, just yells at the boy)
The crown the Kingsguard brings was worn by Viserys and Jaehaerys, the one Aegon II was crowned with was the one worn Aegon I... and an usurper Maegor the Cruel. So its very fitting for him😂

R.I.P to my sweet Lucerys❤🖤, was my favourite from the start with both actors. He got so nervous in situations and always got comforted by Rhaenyra by holding his hand lovingly. My queen Rhaenyra proves once again just how strong she is and how she's actually better than Aegon & Dany, by not wanting the throne over keeping the realm united or peace & keeping her promise to her father. She's lost so much this episode. Felt so bad for poor baby Arrax too, who's just as young & scared as Luke since Arrax was born to him. Aemond was such a stupid fool treating Vhagar like a car, what did he expect to happen. Poor Arrax doesn't know Aemonds just taunting them. Rhaenyra & Syrax both lost their precious son this episode, (Luke&Arrax) Also of course Rhaenyra lost her 1st baby girl Visenya & Viserys this episode too 🖤

21:01 It's fascinating that Viserys's worst face is on the side of the greens, Alicent, Otto and his other children and Viserys's best face is on the side of his daughter Rhaenyra and her brother Daemon and his grandchildren.
I think it's the face that the family members have seen. He has favored Rhaenyra over his other children and forgiven Daemon countless times. He sees them as his true family.
The others feel his neglect and his "ugly" side. They are just duty and there in case something happened with Rhaenyra. They are expendable and he doesn't seem to care much for them.

The story is so beautiful because you can see the downward spiraling of everyone involved, they tried so hard to make it work and have peace and every time it blew in either Alicent or Rhaenyra's faces, there were multiple chances for it to end well but circumstances didn't allow it

And Viserys always wanted Rhaenyra to become Queen, he even thought he was talking to her in the end.
Keep in mind that Viserys once to Alicent that he had a probably prophetic dream about his son on the throne.

The reason daemon was singing that luluby is because jahaerys used to sing it to vermithor as well as his grandkids and vermithor ate anyone who tried to claim him after the king died so he recognized daemon by him singing the lullaby and not eating him
Another fun fact: it’s rumored that dany’s 3 dragons are the sons of vermithor and dreamfyre since in this time 3 dragon eggs went missing and drogon,viserion and rhaegal all look like dreamfyre and vermithor

If you think about it, I get why Aegon turned out the way he did. Since the beginning we see his Father not caring at all about him or Aemond honestly. They only had Allicent who was paranoid most times and stressing out about keeping them safe.

I love how happy Daemyra was, wish we saw those 6 years they had. Also, love how Vaemond proved my queen Rhaenyra correct. He was just out for his own ambition since Rhaenys solved his issue by agreeing to Rhaenyra's proposal. That bethrothal ensures Driftmark stays in the Velaryons bloodline and name with the grandkids as it should be.
Rhaenyra's boys and parenting put Allicent & hers to shame. Luke & Jace are decent respect boys who adore they mother and would never dream of forcing themselves on innocent women/girls.
Rhaenyra also is so genuine, she offers a 2ND olive branch to Allicent, just like in ep 6. The dance of the dragons could have been avoided if Allicent had just got out of her way and not poisioned her sons heads. Poor Helaena would of been so much happier being married to Jace instead of Aegon.

I'm not currently in any subs, but I think one problem is that people get very personal. Like if you like one side or a certain character, you as a whole are a misogynist ect. Some of team black is quiet something and I started to avoid the black sub altogether. Basically if someone likes any of the greens they are terrible people to them.
You can't even be neutral like me. You just get nuked by some very unhinged fans of team black. I have been told I can't be neutral, because neutral means I h@t3 all women, don't want women to have rights and think women are inferior to men. I also don't like Daemon and got attacked for it. I just left the team black sub and don't go into their spaces. It's the most toxic fandom I have ever seen and I still remember Supernatural.
Then team green faught back and now it's a toxic mess between the two.
From the team black side I like Corlys, Jace, Rhaena, Laenor and after episode 10 Rhaenyra, before episode 10 Rhaenys. In show canon I also think Rhaenyra would be much better than Aegon as a ruler.
From the green side I like Helaena, Daeron ( hopefully appears in season 2 ), show! Aemond, Alicent, Tyland.
So I'm staying neutral and don't choose a side. In the end this is a dysfuncional family and a family conflict about inheritance. Just that they are royals and have dragons. So their conflict will end in tragedy for them and almost the whole continent. I like to think of it that way, than one team vs the other team.
