Check out Chris Tomlins new video for I Will Rise. Captured on the Hello Love Tour during a sold out show in Los Angeles, the video captures a moving performance of Chris & band along with a seven piece string section.
I love this song so much because at Church Camp last summer this is the song they were playing i reaccpted Christ into my life and i am thankful for doing it because and not being scared to stand up and go to the front in front of everyone at the camp even the people i didnt know and i am thankful that the Lord spoke to me that night if he didnt i dont think i would be alive today because of my hardships in life..... im only 13 and i am thankful for the Lord he has brought me great people this
Michael, Idk what ur going thru right now, but whatever it is, don't try to RISE in ur own strength--but rather FALL into Jesus' arms. I was having a really hard time last night with something I've been struggling with, then this song came on the radio. I've heard it before and know the words, but last night, I really stopped and listened to what I was singing. The lyrics to this song are so powerful--because they are truth straight from the Word of God. Let Him pick you up, he'll help u stand.
Any one not liking this song. Shouldn't be looking for these type of songs. My mom passed earlier this year to scleraderma. It's tough and Tomlin, Casting Clowns, and others, but most of all GOD has helped me through this tough time

Oh Lord, I can't wait to the day that I will Rise and be reunited with my loved ones. I'm envying that they beat me and are sitting at your throne worshipping you. They were so young but thanks for letting me enjoy them here on earth and I can't wait to be together for eternity! Until I rise Lord, I will worship You here.
The words of this song are out of this world! There's an anchor for my soul...I can say it is well. It makes a big difference when you have Jesus.
i think of my grandmother thats in heaven as of Mothers Day last year. she is with her wonderful husband and her spiritual daddy :) i wish she were here somedays, but i know that she can hear the voice of many angels sing. and she hears the cry of every longing heart. shes rejoicing truely. :)

The CD this is on has been on replayin my car for three months now. Praise God for Chris Tomlin and his doing of Gods will. Some days this song is the only thing that will get me to remember that HE is in control, no matter how out of control my life seems.
Fellow believers, Look UP! For our redemption draweth nigh! Beautiful song! For those that don't believe, you may want to reconsider. Don't want to go to church. Okay. Ask Him to make Himself known to you, ask Him to be your Savior-or to open your eyes/ears, ask forgiveness, and mean it, and then let Him change you. Get in His Word-plenty of good teaching on internet, but fellowship is important. Keeps you strong, and strength you are going to need. PLEASE, don't wait. NO MORE TIME! God Bless!

When i hear this song my tears drop while i am praying for my father who is laying in the Hospital with lot of ilnesses& i have no idea if he ever gets out & continuing his life/ that our Heavenly father will bring him home.
I'm so blessed to hear this song, i am longing to the place where there is no more sorrow and pain. no tears & no misery of life. This song talked to me, that "Jesus has over come & the grave is overwhelmed. The victory is won &we'll rise."

I lost my grandfather 15 yrs ago. He to was a WWII vet. Knowing what I know today, I think I would like to have asked him a ton of questions, but a 20 yr old doesn't think the way a 35 thinks. They were truely awesome!

I totally love this song. Because of Jesus, we now have a ticket to heaven! This song reminds me more about heaven, "No more sorrow and pain" and in heaven, each and everyone of us will sing praises to the Lord, "and I hear the voice of every angel sing worthy is the Lamb, and I hear the cry of every longing heart, worthy is the Lamb".

He healed me from my stroke when all other medical professionals told me there was no way I would walk or use my rt arm again and guess what I use the WHOLE rt. side of me now! God healed me. Get into a good faith based church and start hanging around with more people in the church and ask people how God has worked in their lives. This song is amazing telling us about Jesus's victory over death which many people fear. With Jesus in our hearts, when our earthly body dies, Jesus will reach to us so that we can rise to be with him. Gone will be all of the trials and pain we suffered through to reach the victory he has for us. Thank you Lord for all that you have done for us.

I am perhaps a bit old to be at the scene of a concert like this... but what a awesome experience it would be to actively participate in worship in this way...
I do. Most "Christians came to Jesus from fear of 'hell' but, I came to him because, I found the greatest love imaginable. And that's what I was seeking all my life. He is a personal savior, and the relationship is 2 way and active to those who truly know him. But it's not an 'easy' salvation like religions proclaim: 'Just say the sinner's prayer and join a church' There's a lot more to it than this.
