the whole band sounds like a group of fantastic songwriters....... record sounds so experimental, but so fun from start to finish at the same time...... this is how music is suppose to be done, if you want to call it an actual art

I formed Tarantula with Mike Edelman in LA in the Fall of 1968. 2 months later we were signed by A&M records and did one album in early 1969. I´m from Uruguay. In 1971 I found the album (us pressing) in a store and I Bought It just for the cover. Some years later, I Sold my entire collection. And, again, several years later, i begin to purchase albums once again. But never saw this record anymore. Thanks for give us the chance to hear it again.
Mr Fred Tolley of 3UZ Radio Station supplied this Album to New High School Fete I guess in 1970. My eldest brother bought it and I have to say it's one of my favourite Albums of all time.😊
Hard to believe this group has connections with Spanky and Our Gang, but their bassist Oz Bach was in that group as well as Wings (not McCartney's outfit but the American act that recorded for ABC). I'm often surprised to see a musician going from one band to another playing very different music. Spanky was lightweight sunshine pop, this here being rather interesting psych with prog leanings.
This is an incredibly good LP that I enjoy listening to often.If you want a small sample,listen to 'Red Herring'first,then move to the full experience. Excellence in musicianship and truly a psych masterpiece that should have been more successful. Light up and play loud for the best experience.

such an eclectic album....... this forgotten "jewel" is 10/10 for me

I bought this album about 40 years ago and I thought one of the guys on the Back Cover was Gene Simmons before the KISS Makeup. I Love the album.

I bought this album for 50 bucks not knowing wtf it'd be but I'm happy to say it was worth it.
I just found this at goodwill for $2. I was shocked!
Impressive!! A big surprise to me... I had a couple of albums by an eponymous, 70's band from Spain...but this is very good, too!
