This video was made for a disabled Army veteran, living out of the area,that wanted to take a walk down memory lane.The base was closed in 1994. The day I filmed this, they were doing a controlled burn to rid the base of munitions. Entering Fort Ord from Lightfighter, traveling across Gen. Jim Moore to Col. Durham and 6th, down the hill to Gen. Jim, traveling to CSUMB campus,on to 2nd and 5th to old army barracks, exit via Imjin to Highway 1.
