I really appreciate you and your channel like I’m panicking thinking of all the times I didn’t study now i have so much to study i struggled the whole day, my biiig exams being tmrw and watching this made me relax and i meditated and I will just try my best ❤
Hey Emil, I've been watching your content for a while and they've helped me heaps in terms of mindset and UCAT prep. I just wanted to say that all the content you put out is valueable and helpful for a lot of peoplle so please keep up the good work. Looking forward to you next video!
Hey Emil, I was just wondering if around 2 and a half months is enough prep for UCAT My UCAT exam is in August and I"'ve started to fully invest in my preparation so I was wondering if I am ok or if I should be worried
Hey Emil, Just a quick question in regard to UCAT scores. How does the raw scores relate to the scores out of 900. Like is there a set raw score to get 800+. For eg, I have been discouraged to see that a 33/38 in DM was only a 700 on MedEntry, but remember u saying that above 30 was good.
the raw scores aren't really supposed to clearly relate to the scores out of 900. The scores are converted to a percentile ranking and the percentile rankings are usually converted into raw scores, so it depends on how hard a subtest is. In general, over 30 is good, but it's going to change if most people are getting over 30 as well
I'd recommend to meditate in the morning. Spending time in nature can also help you calm down and be less stressed. Having a calm mind while studying is very important.
Hey! As someone who was addicted to gaming, yes, definately. Gaming is stressful, It's a great option for procrastination and really easy to get offtask.
I would agree with the other comment. Playing video games by itself isn't necessarily a hard thing, but it's very difficult to control and encourages a lot of bad habits. I used to be addicted to games as well and my grades started improving a lot after I quit. I think it's just important to learn how to control your use of gaming/tv shows/social media as they can all lead to unhealthy behaviours
@@ogla5s179 I'm not Emil myself, but how I eventually quit was by breaking a component needed for your game (of course this isn't especially helpful if the equipment is expensive). I broke my mouse out of rage on a video game. This lead to me needing to wait about 2 weeks for a replacement. During this wait, I've realised i've taken a huge leap into the right direction. I.e: I had not played the game for two weeks, something I was unable to do whilst I was addicted for at least 3 years. i took advantage of this huge accomplishment and kept pushing on. I adopted so many hobbies in the process too! I've started going to the gym, started playing basketball and started to meditate, and slowly, years have gone by, and I've seen my grades go from 70% to 90+ in some subjects. I'd say essentially just try and avoid the computer. You need to restrict yourself in some way. Think of the benefits you'll gain from this.
@@ogla5s179 I agree with what channel name has said. I think going cold turkey is the best solution. Delete the games from your PC or give away your console so that you have no option but to not play games. It's a good idea to have a plan for what you will replace gaming with, it's a good idea to pick up something like reading, or playing music or picking something up that is a little bit healthier. There's a lot to it but you can definitely do it!
This guy is a legend honestly he literally helps my studying problems whenever I need it.
