Definitely the best actor ve seen, and his character shows how a good man can be changed to a bad man fairly easy when the world around them goes to shit......but he in my opinion is not the best character. I prefer a couple over him. Daryl, Rick, Michonne, and Glenn. Its just they didn't nail there characters like Jon did for shane.
I wish they would get him back. For flashbacks scenes or something. I loved the Shane Walsh Character. There will never be one quite like him again. He was awesome.
They had him back on the show for 2 sec in season 3 when they went to Woodbury and the big gunscene was and a person walked closer to Rick and Rick looked at the guy who was Shane but then got killed and turns out was some other person.
Shane was a beast. I dont care if the walking dead runs longer than the rifleman or the simpsons.. his character was a junk yard dog and never forgotten.
Shane was holding the group together just fine before Rick showed up. Also, Lori and Carl may be his favs, but he did save the rest of the group on many occasions.
I don't think Shane would get along with most of today's cast. Abraham, Michonne, etc. I do wonder how Shane would have handled Lori's death. His whole thing was Rick not being able to keep Lori and Carl safe. I don't think that incident at the prison with those inmates would have happened if Shane was there. He would have killed Tomas and that little black guy the minute he realized they were a threat.
He would have killed all the prisoners on the spot , and I think he also would have protected Lori and Karl the most , if Lori somehow died I think shane would have became a little like his earlier self , anyways he was the best character and the actor on the show
bones22j that would have called for some of the best damn acting on the show, I wish Frank Darabont and Jon Bernthal were still part of TWD, I can imagine the scene after Lori died, “Let me tell you somethang Rick, I could’ve kept her safe, this is your fault, it’s on you!” Damn that would’ve been dramatic gold, Rick devastated and Shane pissed at Rick!
Still he was the character that had me on my toes the whole show since the beginning until he left. Very.. intimidating, shows his amazing acting skills.
I LOVED SHANE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! I bawled my eyes out when he died and still when i think about his death, i still cry. He was misunderstood, everyone turned against him and took him for granted
Imagine if Shane was never killed but he just walked away from the group in season 2, and it turns out that in season 7 instead of it being Negan that walks out of the caravan it is in fact Shane!!!
Rick was able to build a sense with family with the group. Shane only cared for Lori and Carl, but Rick cares for everyone and that's what held the group together. It all for one and one for all.
I sympathized with Shane's character all the way to the end. I understood what he went through and what he was thinking but there was no way it would've gone any other way.
He was actually the best actor on the show, but he never tells sth bad about the show or his colleagues on the show, even after the writers killed Shane. Kick ass guy and mesmerisingly good actor!!
No, Rick's the one endangering the people in his group. For instance, Shane wanted to call off the search for Sophia because he figured she's most likely dead. Shane was right. Rick, however, wanted to keep looking for a ghost in the woods and almost got Daryl killed. Even Andrew Lincoln has made fun of his character because he felt he made too many mistakes.
I agree with ya, Shane was my favorite character. He beat the shit out of Ed too when he hit Carol. He would have been a huge asset in clearing out the prison and would not take any from the Governor at all. Him and Rick had the same goal just different ideas. I wish he was still on the show as Rick's partner.
so true. he explained his internal struggle to andrea when he was teaching her to shoot at a moving target. he said u have to turn off that "switch" that lets u feel fear or sympathetic so u can act cause someone's depending on u (for him it was lori) but when youre done youre supposed to forget it. he then said he cant get that last part down. andrea says, "but youre getting there", and shane says, "i hope so". i think he was gonna turn that switch back on but then lori said "stay". sucks
Could you see this guy in a different zombie apocalypse portraying a normal person that doesn't go crazy? I would love to see him portraying Angel Tunudo in We're Alive.
I thought the exact same thing when I first saw this. He doesn't have the southern accent but instead more surfer like but it still sounds like Shane haha. Also his mannerisms are VERY much like Shane in real life, have you seen him rub his head in interviews? It's scary how similar they are!
Would of liked to see the adventures of walker shane. I mean how fun would it have been in season 4 finale to see shane walking to the prison over the governor's corpse.
i love daryl and rick combo duo, but i kind of miss this shane and rick tandem too cause they're awesome in someways:) i also miss their brotherhood to each other its so sweet. too bad he died.
His character was pretty cool. I think that before his character became such a bad person he was one of the most popular. Even after he became a bad person in the show, he became a character you loved to hate. People will still watch the show but I think that without his character, not just shane but Jon Bernthal and what he brougth to the show, just won't feel the same
Whenever I read the comic books now I see Jon Bernthal as Shane, that's how good he was. The makers of the show took a small character like Shane and made him epic. Great job.
I can't even believe people boed at any conference, but that is a testament to what an amazing actor Jon B is! Always welcome in the Walking Dead AA on Facebook. Dale and Jon were a loss for sure.
I loved him, I seriously went throught like a full grieving process with him dying. He was my role model. The only reason people didn't like him is because he was harsh, and he spoke the cold hard truth. Man in my opinion we need more people like him, he was the only down to earth guy on the show, extremely awesome and overall the best actor on the show.
Love his laugh. Maybe he can make appearances in the show, i.e. flashbacks or he can haunt Rick in his dreams and Rick can see him sometimes out the corner of his eye but obviously not really there.
Shane was my favorite character, I just hate how he handled everything with Lori and Rick. I would've liked to see how he handled Negan and the Skins. But b/c they killed him off in TWD we got the Punisher so I can't complain 🤗
I hated Shane as a character, but I LOVE Jon. He's definitely one of the best actor's on the show and was one of those character's that you "love to hate." Even so, I was bummed out when he died and I still can't believe he won't be there anymore because I'm so used to seeing him in every single episode. I guess I was just really hoping Shane would stop being so crazy and just get back to normal, but I knew that wasn't gonna happen. gahhhh, Jon just seems so sweet!
Also, one last thing lol Jon did get mad at the end because when he was a zombie he made a suggestion in that he would be the only zombie in the show with a line. His line would be "RIIIIIIIICK!!" but they said no, and pissed him off.
i gotta admit this guy could play a great "asshole" character. his performance was probably the best out of the cast this season. especially that last scene with rick. *He* will be haunted for the rest of his *life* by that. great show. prop's to jon
His character had it figured out way before anyone else I’m assuming that’s why they’d taken him out so early, I would’ve liked to see him go down the route Rick did with the bridge.
I still would've liked to see how Shane would've handled the whole Governor situation.
im sure things wouldve been a whole lot interesting !!!
+Luke Ward Shane would've opened a can of whoop ass on the governor
+TryHard Username FUCK YEAH !!!!
+TryHard Username lmao
me too
Best actor and character TWD has ever had imo.
+thenaturallyinsane1 thank you!
I hated Shane but that's because he was a great actor
Agreed. The show will never have another Jon Bernthal!
Definitely the best actor ve seen, and his character shows how a good man can be changed to a bad man fairly easy when the world around them goes to shit......but he in my opinion is not the best character. I prefer a couple over him. Daryl, Rick, Michonne, and Glenn. Its just they didn't nail there characters like Jon did for shane.
naturallythe1 agreed 100%, although both andrew and jon are the best actors by far in the show, rick comes 2nd place
bernthal is honestly such a good actor I love all his roles
ogjuggalo4545 yah, id rather see him in the walking dead tho for sure
"fuck you you guys wanna see me die well watch this im going out with a fucking bang" -jon bernthal 2012
+oliver markvardsen, a Punishing bang ;)
I wish they would get him back. For flashbacks scenes or something. I loved the Shane Walsh Character. There will never be one quite like him again. He was awesome.
OR maby rick goes nuts and sees him like daryl saw merle
They had him back on the show for 2 sec in season 3 when they went to Woodbury and the big gunscene was and a person walked closer to Rick and Rick looked at the guy who was Shane but then got killed and turns out was some other person.
Umm, that scene ^ was much longer than two seconds. More like 30 seconds or so. Rick was hallucinating Shane. I really want him back on the show.
Mavis Abe I didn't mean 2 seconds literally just a really short period of time x)
tulipchic34 and they did in season 9!
Shane was a beast. I dont care if the walking dead runs longer than the rifleman or the simpsons.. his character was a junk yard dog and never forgotten.
His stutter, it's incredible how he hides it in acting, love him man.
Es tartamudo? Con razón habla así .no sabía
And now Rick is Shane's character .
real shit smh shane was too advaned for the show he coulda done big things
+jo yungin if only shane didnt die...
Devatron Devatron i disagree, the Shane character was incredibly selfish and unstable
Shane realized the Situation what and how to handle that's why he got hated.. now rick doing and thinking like him
chris rucker Shut up, no one cares what u think its a FACT that Rick becomes shane even andrew lincoln said so himself
oh my god hearing his real voice for the first time is amazing
Shane was holding the group together just fine before Rick showed up. Also, Lori and Carl may be his favs, but he did save the rest of the group on many occasions.
It's sad when a character dies on The Walking Dead, just knowing that they will leave the series is sad.
Spolier u fuckin dumbshit
He would have killed all the prisoners on the spot , and I think he also would have protected Lori and Karl the most , if Lori somehow died I think shane would have became a little like his earlier self , anyways he was the best character and the actor on the show
About36GREEKS it's carl
Fuck you
bones22j that would have called for some of the best damn acting on the show, I wish Frank Darabont and Jon Bernthal were still part of TWD, I can imagine the scene after Lori died, “Let me tell you somethang Rick, I could’ve kept her safe, this is your fault, it’s on you!” Damn that would’ve been dramatic gold, Rick devastated and Shane pissed at Rick!
his laugh is my life❤
Still he was the character that had me on my toes the whole show since the beginning until he left. Very.. intimidating, shows his amazing acting skills.
Hes sooooo hot!
Oh Yeahhhhhhhhh.
Lol he's a badass for sure
I LOVED SHANE SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! I bawled my eyes out when he died and still when i think about his death, i still cry. He was misunderstood, everyone turned against him and took him for granted
The best part of watching this video is that I met this guy at Venice Beach.
It was the best day of my life.
Imagine if Shane was never killed but he just walked away from the group in season 2, and it turns out that in season 7 instead of it being Negan that walks out of the caravan it is in fact Shane!!!
show went down hill after jon bernthal left, justs saying
I agree
Id say after the Governor saga it started going downhill
It's gotten amazing
+Gavin O' Donnell Shame they completely fucked Negan up.
+Nemesis A-Type With the cursing? Cuz they'll have him say f bombs on the blu Ray release
Rick was able to build a sense with family with the group. Shane only cared for Lori and Carl, but Rick cares for everyone and that's what held the group together. It all for one and one for all.
“Why is it still comin’!”
:Shane Walsh...
I do wish they bring him back in season 6 or 7
his brains got blown out though
HalfPinoyPride I know but like maybe a flashback or something, They never showed what happened to his family
Shane had no family that's why he tried to steal MY WIFE AND MY SON
+Gabriel “Azarak7” Gatt maybe when they meet Negan it's actually Shane with a differnt name
+Rick Grimes bruh 😂😭
If only the Shane Character would be alive there would be no Bad Ass Punisher thanks Walking Dead for killing him off 👍
"GUESS WHAT HAPPENS NEXT DUDE" LOL
I sympathized with Shane's character all the way to the end. I understood what he went through and what he was thinking but there was no way it would've gone any other way.
Jon's laugh. Need I say more?
If it wasn't for the conflict between him and Rick I think Shane would've survived the longest. He was very goal oriented.
He doesn't even have to act for walking dead
Shane:And An And And An And And And An xD He Kills Me All The Time!
"in the butt, in the butt. See like people didn't know that." *Jon giggling that girly giggle* LOLOL!!
He was actually the best actor on the show, but he never tells sth bad about the show or his colleagues on the show, even after the writers killed Shane.
Kick ass guy and mesmerisingly good actor!!
I like how in 2:14 He's all into it!!

I can’t tell you how many times while watching the walking dead I thought this crap wouldn’t go down if Shane was around.
Miss shane on the walking dead. He F rule
When he heard "in the butt" he turned in to Shorty from Scary Movie for a second.
He said he always knew, I doubt he resented anyone. He seems like a cool guy and he says he loved being on the show with everyone.
I wanna see how the whole 6th season cliffhanger would've been with Shane there
he seems high when he laughs at the whisper
This man is Shane FOR LIFE
I would have loved to see how character of Shane evolve with the show.
lol how many times does he s-s-stuttter??? lol
wow man, I never knew he talked like that. Both him and Rick impressed me with their acting. Holy crap.
I wish Shane could've still been on... He's such a iconic character and a hell of a survivalist
I wish subsequent new characters and the actors who played them
had been as strong as Jon Bernthal's Shane.
so true. he explained his internal struggle to andrea when he was teaching her to shoot at a moving target. he said u have to turn off that "switch" that lets u feel fear or sympathetic so u can act cause someone's depending on u (for him it was lori) but when youre done youre supposed to forget it. he then said he cant get that last part down. andrea says, "but youre getting there", and shane says, "i hope so". i think he was gonna turn that switch back on but then lori said "stay". sucks

"Yea like the walker shane could have fucked everybody up" LOL
"You don;t even give me a shot at coming back next year" - Funny, he comes back in episode 8 season 3 as a hallucination to Rick =)
"aaaaaaaaaaaaaah shit that's the fucking funniest thing I've ever heard man ahhhhhhhh shit" man I just laugh every time
He’s awesome in The Punisher on Netflix.

My favorite character in that series. Badass
Jon is such a fucking bro, man. So awesome outside of acting.
Jon Bernthal. Now one of my best actors.
I miss Shane so much in the show
I liked him when he had it mostly together. His saving Rick during the hospital flashbacks, saving Lori and Carl without his later intentions etc.
I'm lovin that New York Giants logo in the background
Whenever I read the comic books now I see Jon Bernthal as Shane, that's how good he was. The makers of the show took a small character like Shane and made him epic. Great job.
"Walker" Shane lived for about 30 seconds and was killed by a kid.
Gets all keyed up to hear the doctor whisper and see what is said funny as hell.
All good. He left at the peak. The show went off the cliff after that.
I can't even believe people boed at any conference, but that is a testament to what an amazing actor Jon B is! Always welcome in the Walking Dead AA on Facebook. Dale and Jon were a loss for sure.
Best character in the show so far, I wish he was still alive to see how he responses to the governor's threats and the woodbury people.
wow...i didnt know he could be this cool, funny and laid back. He aint even close as that crazy dangerous Shane
i miss Shane!!!
I loved him, I seriously went throught like a full grieving process with him dying. He was my role model. The only reason people didn't like him is because he was harsh, and he spoke the cold hard truth. Man, I love this dude!!
He is such a legend. I miss Shane!
John Bernthal in every sentence: and and and and and and/ for for for for for for for for/ so so so so so so so so hahahaha lol
I don't care how many times he repeats a word, I love him!
Shane was my favorite character, I just hate how he handled everything with Lori and Rick. I would've liked to see how he handled Negan and the Skins. But b/c they killed him off in TWD we got the Punisher so I can't complain 🤗
I love his laugh its adorable ahhhh marry me
Shane didn't die. He just became the Punisher
'Walker Shane could've fucked everyone up' xD
I loved his character. Hes amazing & hot.
YES! I'm not the only one who loved him
Shane was THE BEST SURVIVOR AND WARRIOR !!!!
I hated Shane as a character, but I LOVE Jon. He's definitely one of the best actor's on the show and was one of those character's that you "love to hate." Even so, I was bummed out when he died and I still can't believe he won't be there anymore because I'm so used to seeing him in every single episode. Jon sounds like the most amazing guy
Considering the comics Shane's character got a pretty good run.
Now Rick has become Shane
Bernthal is pretty down to earth guy. He dresses like most dudes younger than him.
What would he of said to Negan
Kyle Albano he woudve just killed Megan and replaced him
I can barely watch this show now that Shane's KIA. Him and that Mossberg 590 were iconic in this show.
Jon😍😍😍😍😍😍
Jon Bernthal is my new hero, along with Tyler Hoechlin A.K.A
jon said "f*ck" so many times i loss count! lol
The Adventures of Walker Shane!
His character had it figured out way before anyone else I’m assuming that’s why they’d taken him out so early, I would’ve liked to see him go down the route Rick did with the bridge.
oh believe me i know, i read the graphic novels, Brian Blake is gonna b one sadistic bastard
He is awesome in TWD. Although i don't like him killing Oddist (or however), he is really awesome.
