Years ago I bought a two stage snow blower from my neighbor who was moving into a condo. The snow blower was like brand new. I couldn't wait to use it. Winter came and we had a decent snow fall and I went through the process of getting it out. I had to move my jeep out of the garage then my motorcycle out then the snow blower. Then put my motorcycle back then my jeep. Did the driveway and had to move my jeep out of the garage then my motorcycle out then put the snow blower away. Then put my motorcycle away then put my jeep away. Did that for a few years then for a few years we didn't get much snow. After that I sold it. By the time it took me to move everything to get my snow blower out I could use a shovel and shovel my driveway just as fast. I always winterize my weedeater, motorcycle and lawnmower with Stabil. It has never failed me.
Same thing happened to me yesterday! Took top end off pull rope. The spring in there sprung out everywhere on me. I worked with it for a hour. Threw spring across my shop and it’s still sitting there!
Mark, Nice to see you're apparently feeling somewhat better from last week. .... About your little cashier lady and her allergies, I know when I go down the soap, detergent isle I get choked up, sneezing, etc, etc. You might mention that to her because that stuff is cause for a lot of others getting that discomfort reaction. Some folks are still wearing masks from the Covid times and maybe that might help a little bit. .... You are getting just about the same amount of snow as we've gotten thus far, 2 to 4 inches and the deep chilly weather & temps in the teens as well. Hang in there. Winter lasts only just so long and then we'll be cheering you on with your plantings & garden. .... I know it's cold but am going to make an attempt at a 10-15 mile Ride tomorrow, Friday. We'll see when the Sun comes up in about 10 hours. .... as always, thanx.
Good video Mark! We usually have a once a year snow accumulation of a few inches , or sometimes just ice in North Ms . No need for a snow blower , haha everything around here shuts down when it happens lol. No school or work for most folks . Have a good week , God Bless!
I have a nice heavy duty snow blower. My driveway is over 100 yards long, the length of a football field. It's still a lot of work clearing snow with a snowblower. Sometimes I look at the driveway covered in snow and say screw it and pull the Jeep out of the garage, put it in 4 wheel low and go.
Good to see you are getting back to your old self. Well enough to get out of the house. My Wife's Sisters live just down the road, they were both pretty sick. The oldest one fell in her bedroom and was to weak to get up. she spent the night on the floor. When they found her and got her up she still didn't want to go to the Hospital but she did finally agree. I personally know what can happen when the body gets run down and dehydrated. The mind starts to falter. Not talking about the Wife's Sister although she may have been headed in that direction also. That's a long way to shovel snow Itchy. Call me biased but many years ago I had a Bolens garden tractor and a push mower with a Tecumseh engine, I was not a fan. I always say the best thing about a Tecumseh is they don't make them anymore. Parts were higher also. I seem to find people that agree with me. 32 degrees hear today Itchy, getting together tomorrow for a bonfire and weiner roast at the farm before the next cold snap. 34 degrees tomorrow and 3 degrees Saturday with a low of -17. Go figure, that would take a bigger bonfire. Good luck on your starter, I like the electric start but killing it at the end of the driveway would suck.
Probably got dry fuel lines an a little dry particles in fuel bowl, would it be worth taking mower deck off the old one, put chains an snow blade on it, I'm not looking forward to working in Sub-Zero temps this week,
itchy have you ever thought of getting a plow blade for your new mower and use it to plow the driveway or get a v shape plow and hook it up to your truck and plow the driveway
Does that blower not have shoes on the side that you can adjust up and down? It should have sky’s on the front that you can adjust down to keep the cutting edge up and out of the gravel
Hey brother, don't leave that gas in it, I put stabil in my small engine stuff, even when it sets for a while, I've never had one fail to start. The gas we get now isn't what it use to be.
They make things that are hard to repair so you go to their service department or have to buy a new one. Surprised you don't have a plow for your truck. 🤔
The carb needs a good clean your pilot air jet is probably plugged up and since it was in a shed you might want to make sure mice have not made a mess inside of the engine cover you can take a very small wire and open the pilot jet do not use micro drill bits they will break and then your screwed ask me how I know lol wish I lived closer to you I would fix it for you just one old biker to another.
I cant even watch these youtube videos. Withen 7:25 minutes there were 8 commercials. Looked like a good video but i am not going to keep skipping adds.
Good to see you again itchy

Glad you are feeling better Mark. You are right about the cost of a new snow blower. I paid $800.00 for mine 2 yrs ago. Electric start is a must.
Thanks mark
Please pray for everybody here in California with the wildfires it's just terrible all the people that lost their homes here

Thanks, I enjoy the day to day in your life, always entertaining. Blessings you.
great video brother...
First on the video the second is me so I could leave you a message 😊
Saw that you went by the old elm farm. I hit a deer there around 20 years ago.

Sometimes You Just Can’t Win . GOD BLESS YOU
4 am. 5 degrees. Madness
Oh.. you know Virginia... I know her well too...
You will have to get you a blade for your new mower.
One.
Word on the snow blower maintenance
itchy have you ever thought of getting a plow blade for your new mower and use it to plow the driveway or get a v shape plow and hook it up to your truck and plow the driveway
Snow plows and gravel driveways aren’t very compatible.
Stock up on wood there's coming some really cold artic air beginning of next week
✌🏻❤️🫵🏻🇨🇦
I would definitely try to put wheels on front to raise out of gravel a little
You have an electric start on it. Just put in an extension cord in,and push the button
Ethanol in the fuel gums up everything. Try gum out or Seafoam mixed in your fuel.
Does that blower not have shoes on the side that you can adjust up and down? It should have sky’s on the front that you can adjust down to keep the cutting edge up and out of the gravel

Main jet problem

Can you put a snowblower on that new lawnmower you just got? Be one less engine to maintain.
