What these boots have taught me is that looks aren't everything, and some of those flashy boots like magistas and mercurial aren't as good quality as these copa mundials. I feel like everyone in this comment section saying this boot is good knows their football

As a long time Copa Mundial wearer, I personally would suggest that you go FULL SIZE smaller for snug fit and in anticipation of stretch down the road, instead of the half-size. If you take care of the leather, these shoes will last years. Arguably the best shoes ever made in the history of football.
Yes. I got them true to my size and after a few months they were way too big. Went half a size down and after a while they weren’t as snug as I wanted them to be. Thinking of getting a new pair

Passform: Der Copa sitzt aufgrund des Leder nicht so eng wie andere Schuhe, und das hatten wir bemängelt, ist aber von Fuß zu Fuß unterschiedlich.
Wir gehen vom natürlichen Einlaufen aus - damit wir gleiche Voraussetzungen für jeden Schuh haben (ohne Hot-Water-Trick).
Zunge ist leider immer dann noch da, obwohl sie weniger stört (deshalb nur ein kleiner Minuspunkt).
Danke - wir nehmen das naütlich auch nicht als Kritk auf - und freuen uns natürlich über jeden Kommentar, dafür ist die Kommentarbox ja da ;)

Eigentlich für jede Position - aber ich denke, der Schuh passt Abwehrspieler und defensiven Mittelfeldleuten sehr gut, die öfters in Zweikämpfe gehen, da der Schuh sehr robust ist und guten Schutz bietet
also das mit der einlaufphase ist schwachsinn. der copa mundial passt sich schon perfekt an deinen fuß an wenn du ihn das erste mal an hast. und n kleiner tipp: den copa mundial nicht auf kunstrasen anziehen, da das kängeru leder nach einer zeit verbrennt. adidas hat dafür extra den mundial team entwickelt, der wildleder auf den ersten centimetern zum schutz hat.
Digga weisst du ob die Kaiser 5 auch dieses Problem haben, also mit dem verbrennen des leders?
"Diggah", ich befürchte ja, weil der Kaiser auch komplett aus echtleder besteht. besorg dir für Kunstrasen einen schuh der für kunstrasen geeignet ist.

If the weight of these shoes is too much, you’re too slow. This was/ is my shoe. Out of the box they’re clunky. But after two or three hours and playing in some damp conditions, they form better than a synthetic ever can. These boots mold to the foot.
They are timeless.
They are unimprovable.
They work.
For those asking about sizing, I normally wear US11 and with Copa Mundial I wear US9.5. This gives a snug fit and allows the shoes to mold uniquely to your foot giving it a "custom" fit.
spezielle Torwartschuhe gibt es nicht .. wir können den Copa Mundial, Predator LZ oder den T90 IV für Torleute empfehlen
The long laces (in my opinion) are actually better than short laces. They act as a type of flyware (the wires that connect sole plate to laces) securing you foot into the shoe. They're probably better then flyware because you can tie them around any part of the boot (they'll stay in place because of the studs) and they are part of the laces not just connected to them.
if you're gonna talk about the tech specs, st least know spelling. It's flyWIRE or also known as brio cables

I've got Copa's that are a full size down and they're still a little big, I'd recommend a full size down.

The laces around the bottom are easier, they don't become undone. Also these are my favourite boots have been wearing these for years. Have worn all similar as well such as world cups and kaiser 5s brilliant boots nothing negative to say if you wear them properly
@freekickerz - Trying tying the laces around the first pair of studs on the heel. It makes the shoe feel even more stable and responsive (by pulling the front part of the shoe towards the heel) and the length of the laces won't irritate you.
does anyone know how closely related these are with the Mundial Team Turf version in terms of sizing?? I am a size 8 in the Copa Mundial FG boots....but haven't found a single shop that sells the turf version where i live to confirm my size. would it mean i am size 8 in the turf version also? please help....i don want to order blindly online.
i have both .. my copa mundials are size 40 2/3 (sorry, only have the eu-sizes) and in my team mundial i have size 41 2/3 .. so i'd advise you to get them half a size or even an entire size bigger than the copas.

in my copas it's like really, really tight .. in my teams i have a little more space, as i like it this way. it's not too much space, though. just perfect imo. have a size bigger than your copas would probably be best for you.

Normalerweise ist das kein Problem, nur werden die Schuhe schneller dreckig, aber die kann man ja einfach abwaschen - ansonsten spielen wir auch immer auf Kunstrasen
after 3 weeks of playing football the shoes breaked in and they're now sooo comfortable, but i dont know, i really notice the weight but still a very good shoe. A minus ist that the sole is breaking fast

if your boots fit and are comfortable, and you don't get blisters and so on during a game - you will say, that a good football boot is more important - trust me ;)
Hey just wondering I'm a striker and I was wondering if these cleats could handle the quick jerking stop motion of a everyday soccer player and still last after kicking a thousand balls.
Copas are my favorite cleats I have ever owned. The last forever, the touch is amazing, the trick is to get them too small, wear them in a hot shower and they will mold to your foot, dry them out while wearing them and instantly they give you a perfect fit and the touch is superb. getting the new all blacks today
if you get a shoe that fits kind of tight in the beginning it will mold to your foot over time right? im getting some synthetic f50s and i heard it molds to your foot a little

Bro these boots are great for kicking, passing, and controlling and they’re very comfortable the only down thing is the weight but that’s not a big deal because it’s all in your head. But if you want a quality and more consistent playing style. These are your best choices.
i enjoy these videos a lot guys, reminds me of my love for the greatest sport in the world :) i still play every chance i get, and i use these videos not only for when i need new cleats but also for studying shooting techniques in real time. i find i just learn better that way xD keep up the awesome work, i look forward to watching these vids even while deployed in the Navy.

My feet are 10 1/2 inches long and 4 1/2 inches wide (which is wider than the average foot) and the size 11 USA fit me perfectly. I don't know if the Copa Mundial really are cut or shaped for wide feet -- I read the contrary -- but the soft kangaroo leather expands really well for a good fit.

These are actually the best boots in the world, always were and always will be. Fits your feet like a glove, exoskeleton type stuff.

tipp für alle die sich den copa holen wollen: je nachdem wie breit euer fuß is, eine halbe oder sogar ganze nummer (bei sehr schmalen füßen) KLEINER kaufen! zuhause den schuh in nen eimer mit heißem wasser legen und sobald das wasser nicht mehr heiß ist den schuh anziehen und anlassen bis er komplett getrocknet ist! dadurch habt ihr kaum bis gar keine einlaufzeit mehr, der schuh passt nahezu perfekt.

Copa has 100% Kangaroo leather with very good durability but price is only $150 , New models cost over $300 made with crappy material with bad durability..?? !! What the f*ck?? Brands these days should focus more on the quality rather then making boots lighter.
liebe freekickerz, ich mag euch einiges dazu sagen: zur passform.. ihr bemängelt dass der schuh zu breit ist vorne.. darum kauft man den schuh immer mindestens eine halbe nummer bis ganze nummer kleiner als andere! zur einlaufphase.. zu große holzschuhspanner nehmen, schuhe in eimer mit heißem wasser stellen und stehen lassen.. weitet den schuh und passt danach perfekt... zur zunge.. einfach nach innen umschlagen (für konzi).. aber sont sehr gutes video! :)

Are the Copa Mundial a variation of Kaiser 5? Because i have The Kaiser 5 Cup ones....
Kaiser 5 are a variation of the World Cup boots (screw-in studs for soft ground) which in turn are a variation of the Copa Mundial!
Kaiser 5's are also great for the value as are usually half the price of World Cup boots.
I have a very wide foot and i can only go with 100℅ Real leather! These are for sure amazing and there is a reason they are the most selling boot ever!

Freekickerz I dont agree with most of the comments as i have these and the break in period was very quick and efficiant. Another "Problem" being i find the boot very light and a perfect fit. my own references maybe? But what a great video!

good video for a classic boot. I find the copas not fun to play with when on wet days. You will feel the weight from the rain and the traction is not that good. Also the standard laces are not long enough to wrap under and then to tie up. I ended up buying longer laces... but probably the most indestructible boot ever.
They looked like you got the wrong size, also the tongue isn't too big your just wearing them wrong, i miss out the top hole and fold over the tongue so that it covers the laces. I'm old school though.
They make every cleat look good!

they absorb more water than a synthetic and it will hava a slightly slicker touch but ir is not a huge difference
