Create Point features along a line in ArcGIS

hey! i want to create 137 points along line which are not equally spaced(random intervals) for a distance of 10820 m, how can I do that, using arc GIS 10.8, please let me know

This is very helpful. I have a question: I have two layers; a road network (line) and mile post (point). I would want to create a new layer (sub-mileage) which would be a calibrated aspect of the mile post layer. Obviously, there too many mile posts so I cannot create it manually. Is there any tool or code that could be used to generate the sub-mileage. I could really use your help.
