This is a very detailed video. It helps me with future thoughts and plans with the 300g i recently built and stocked. I have a mix of South and Central in it. Several of the same fish as you.

If you didn't mention the substrate, I wouldn't have even noticed. The fish are so beautiful, and they are the largest focal point in the aquarium.
That's my dream Tank size the 300 to 350 gallon aquarium. Would you recommend acrylic over glass for a tank that size? All your tanks are beautiful!

EZ 8 !!! Tanks are always so healthy and interesting in every area, especially like the way you hand selected the hardscape . That reminds me of something Cory had brought up over some of the recent Aquarium CO-OP short video's which are just really condensed from some older videos , like the one showing how to start the siphon + techniques on the gravel vacuum !!! Have you ever considered something like that? You totally could do that with the video where you went to look for driftwood and so many other GREAT videos that might be a good idea to make a good short and see if it is worth it??? ♤♡◇♧

I am from india, i loved to see a beautiful vieja collection. Soul satisfied, i have multiple verities of vieja in collection also. I feed them 3 types of hikari food And shrimp once a week. What do you feed these adults? Please share i like that thickness and shape of your fish. Thank you in advance 🙂

Regarding your American tank I think it looks great. I’d suggest adding 1-2 inches of garden soil and 6 inches of sand on top. Then plant heavily with hearty plants halfway into the sand.

That’s a beautiful male feaste I have one, he’s only about four or 5 inches. I am still hoping he’ll turn out to be a female. Do you know how soon they are distinguishable Darius because the females are so stunning aren’t they 👍🫠

Meh I have a solid collection of SA cichlids but their honestly not all that beautiful & neither are these for the most part. I think I’d have to get into salt water fish for that more beautiful image.
There are also scratch sand paper kits you can use in a stocked aquarium
