The way the Loons are playing without Reynoso or any real DP is certainly encouraging. But eventually we are just going to have to move on from Rey. Its a huge loss in talent but completely evened out by the fact that he is not playing anyway. Two seasons now. Even his teammates are getting sick of this.
He's clearly struggling both on and off the pitch and they should offer some mental health and support services, pay out some or all of his salary so he has time to get himself right, and cut him. Or move him to another team if they want to take on the baggage.
Its time to reinforce this team with a DP who wants to be here and contribute.
They can't buy or sell until mid-July but yeah, the players are done with him and Ramsay and al-Ahmad probably wanna make big signings of their own

He subbed in 2 goal scorers. I think the only mistake was subbing Riqui, even if it was just at the end of the game. But he needs to rest too. He is by far our best now, we wouldn't want to wear him out. But yup, it's not the time to sub Puig, maybe when we're leading by 2.

That’s the subs I’m referring to that was bad tactics. You’re inviting the team to attack u without any counterattacking options. It was a horrible decision as the reason we even scored the fegubdez goal was because of the counter attack. Why interfere with that. The coach costs la that game by going defensive as la regardless who is out there best for of defense is there offense. And rest for what??? Riqui was suspended last game and we play like once a week right now. These are professionals. Win the game is the first priority!!!!!

Something meaningless: when a player is offside or in this case the ball crosses the entire line, The VAR calls the referee instead of having someone to report, time and rhythm are lost. I say that after seeing that players who receive a strong infraction and medical attention on the field must wait 2 minutes to re-enter (I understand that there are players who simulate, but players who don't really do it? This is how they reward the player who hits). If you want to make sense of this, you'd have to rethink the first thing.

Why the hell doesn't the MLS have Goal line technology like the Prem does? All the ref needs to do it look at his watch then to know if it's crossed the line, not a long winded VAR check...
Gotta replace Reynoso's production somehow, and it isn't happening through Trapp or Taylor. Get an actual 10 since Reynoso isn't coming back.
Whaaaat??? How can you say this after THIS game? Taylor had 3 excellent crosses that should've been finished--that's the first time he's done anything good in attack but he's the problem? They don't need Rey to create chances, they've been making tons of them all year and really should've been up by 3+ at the half in this game. Lod has 3g 7a this year so they most definitely have replaced Rey's production (he shoulda scored twice this game tho).
All that yapping aside, I actually agree that they need to spend big money when the window opens in July, just to get a player who can flip a switch and win a match in half a second like Lucho, Cucho, Chicho, etc. That's the only thing missing without Rey, and it's a requirement in order to do well in knockouts
We have some good players, but the coach is not using them to fulfill their potential. He should be on the hot seat.

Tbh tho Loons really shoulda won this game. DJ Taylor had the best game of his career with actual good crosses and the rest of the team refused to score them-Tani, Franco, Lod, good grief. Lod was way off today, had some baaaaaad misses and had a great chance to shoot cutting in but went for another pass. XG United is back I suppose, this was just like the old home games with Heath.

MLS is infuriating too often. The PSA explanations of the VAR calls like it's the NFL are so F-ing stupid it's beyond belief.

FIFA has trialled it in several other leagues, and in the WWC. It's probably coming to more leagues since it lets the paying fans in the stadium know what the review was for.
