Thank you Kvitrafn for Wardruna. Thank you for putting so much time and thought into this and sharing it with us. You inspire me. Your rune magic works as you have intended it to. Even on the way to work today, listening to Hagal, the forests and sky seemed to "light up" as I traveled WITH nature.
I guess he changed his mind on the size of the live band, because it's at least 12 years later and they're still with 6-7 people live, not 15-20. - But I think a smaller setup suits them. They don't need to be like Heilung who have this kind of orgy of a ritual on stage, which is great for them. - Perhaps, yea, Wardruna could also have some additional vocalists or percussionists for certain songs, but that would only be the minority of their material, I think. - Maybe he was just thinking bigger in the beginning and the direction kind of changed as he figured out the music. - Whatever it is, I think they ended up in the right place for the music and performance. - Have yet to see them live, this weekend actually, but even the live studio recording ("First Flight") is already great. Apparently it has little editing and it doesn't sound like it needs more people.
I've been there since the first birth of Wardruna when nobody ever sounded like them and their gigs in very small venues in Bergen were out of this world far from being sold out compared to huge venues these days after the shity Netflix thingy that ruined the atmosphere, also, heilung are the posers of whatever they think they are doing , never seen them live and never will just by looking at that huge fakery online, bottom line is Gaahl left at the perfect timing when Netflix called.

Amanda Leigh-Hawkins very well said! have you ever tried creating your own runes/sigils?
Please, don't let this end at the new album Ragnarok. I need more of this :(
Quiting Gorgoroth to focus on Wardruna. Quite possibly the decision of the century.

Maybe you need to open your mind.
